Santo Rugger (RIP Santo Rugger)

Hahah, so three blinks means “I love you” and three thousand blinks means “please turn the fan off”. I’m not sure why I find that sort of amusing but I do. Sorry.

It’s terrific that you will have him home for christmas. I hope it is a very good one for all of you.

This thread is incredible.

We’d like to wish you all a happy New Year. We are hanging in there. Patrick is much more flexible now and hopefully therapy starts next week. It’s very difficult and emotional, but we know it’s so worth it. Keep us in your thoughts.

You are!

May the new year bring much progress.

Keeping hopeful, growing stronger, getting better thoughts in my head. Go Patrick!

Here’s to a year of mending and growing and loving and finding that strength down deep that you never knew you could tap.

May the Rugger family have a great 2010!

Still thinking of you all, hope the new year brings great progress. Thank you so much for thaking the time to update us.

Hi SantoRugger!!

I was just wondering how Santo was doing. Thanks for the update! Here’s to lots of progress in 2010!

Pat had his first therapy session Tuesday. We are so glad to get back on track. Can’t wait to let you know how he progresses.

Back to work!
What’s his current program?

Thanks for updating us, SRM! Please keep us posted as he progresses. I’m just sitting here thinking how far he’s already come from the first post in this thread to now! Amazing.

It’s good to hear that Santo’s progressing. Thanks for keeping us posted, SRM!

Pat started speech, occupational and physical therapy. It renews our hope that Pat can recover. He’s always been such a hard worker and fiercely determined. We are so excited to start seeing results.

That so great to hear! You are such a wonderful Mom! You are such a huge part of his recovery and it’s so good of you to take the time to keep us posted. Take care of yourself, too, ok?

Glad to hear the update. Thanks, Mom!

Wonderful!! Hang in there SRM. My prayers are still with you and Pat.

That’s wonderful! More good wishes and prayers for Pat and the whole family.

YAY!

‘Yay’ from me, too!
