So, if you went to Africa, where the Blacks are in the majority, it would be OK for you to call them “niggers”. And, in Isreal, where the Jews hold the majority- “kike” and “jewboy” would not be the language of a bigot. :rolleyes: Intolerance, bigotry & racism are still the same- despite who has more folks. The “kaffirs” in Old South Africa, who were in the majority, were certainly oppressed, and many of the Boers were bigoted, even tho the minority.
Here in the USA, Louis Farrakeen is also a bigot, despite the fact he is a minority, here.
Hate language, racial/ethnic pejoritives, intolerance, & bigotry is wrong, no matter how many folks are in what group.

DITWD, I never figured you for a total Jesus Freak, just a typical Christian (and BOY is there a difference). I wonder if the author of that “repture index” webpage is even aware that the Rapture isn’t in the bible. (The notion of a pre-Tribulation Rapture was invented in the 19th century by John Darby, who got the idea from a rather strained reading of the books of Revelation and Daniel. And the book of Daniel ain’t even in the New Testament!)

I am not defending the fanatic loonie, or his ilk, who made that site. True, in my mind they are completely harmless- but folks like this sometimes cry out to be mocked.
Of course, for those of us who really DO know the Bible- we know that not only is this man a “loonie”, he is completely wrong. Whenever the Second Coming really is, it will not be foretold by loonies like this. Personally, any guess I would make would be, by definition, wrong, but I would say rather confidently you don’t have to start stocking those “rapture rations” just yet.

I have a question for y’all: Supposedly, it says somewhere that no man shall know when Jesus makes his return engagement. If I say, every morning, with all sincerity, “Jesus will return today,” wouldn’t that mean He can’t come back that day?

I think this is the chapter you’re referring to, which also conveniently talks about the rapture and the trumpets, but also note that earlier on Jesus says that “these” things" should’ve happened withing that generation, which would mean he’s about 1,900 or so years late.
