Scooooterrrr!!!!

Fucking Scooter! Again, Fox is giving us that fucking Scooter horseshit! Whoever thought of that should be shot and pissed on.

Well, he might be gay.

Tim McCarver loves Scooter. Which tells you a whole hell of a lot about the mental age of Tim McCarver.

Is this thread about Libby Lewis, one of the two highly place White House sources who outed Valerie Plame yet remains gainfully employed and prison outfit free, or something else?

Yes?

I hear that Tim McCarver loves Libby Lewis, so sure, let’s include him too.

BTW, the OP was supposed to be somewhat more spittle-flecked, but the board software stopped me from posting the title in all caps. SCOOOOTERRRR!!! [shakes fist at heavens]

Manduck:

I really agree with you, Scooter is hyper annoying as is Tim McCarver.

I never really understood a brushback pitch until they showed Scooter come flying in WITH NO BATTER STANDING THERE.

Why even friggin’ show him? You just had a textbook example of a brushback pitch. You need Scooter to reiterate it?

His name is I. Lewis “Scooter” Libby. Which makes me shudder in horror at the thought of what his wife hollers in bed.

Robin

KHAAAAAANNNN!!!

Ya’know…if Fox was so interested in making the game more accessible to kids, how about scheduling their games a tad bit earlier in the day. I wouldn’t mind a Scooterish (Not Scooter himself—he (it?) must die) type of thing on Saturday afternoon games, but not during the playoffs in prime time.

History repeats itself in baseball. Ten years ago, you could’ve changed the name of the channel from FOX to WPIX, put a Rizzuto in for clarity and the OP still would’ve worked

“Well, that kind of puts a damper on even a Yankee win.”
The Scooter, on reading a statement that the Pope had died.

“They’ve got so many Latin players we’re going to have to get a Latin instructor up here.”
more wisdom from The Scooter.

I too thought this thread was about Phil Rizzuto.

Scooter is the illegitimate son of Peter Puck.

Scooter?

No, Scooter!

Ok, so what is Scooter (besides Rizzuto’s nickname)? I haven’t seen him/it on TV while watching the games here in Panama, even though some of them are on Fox.

We do have some immensely annoying things on during the games though - the local stations periodically superimpose animated ads over the bottom or sides of the screen, obscuring plays or stats.

Scooter is an animated talking baseball that Fox mostly used to explain different types of pitches. Problem is, he is incredibly annoying and the explanations rather simplistic. I mean, if you put McCarver in the cage with Scooter, I’m not sure who I’d want to win, unless they could take each other out.

Not this Scooter?

So this isn’t about Kermit’s nephew?
