Well, given that we Scots have recently come to prominence here, perhaps it’s time to think about another meeting.
We could avoid Waxy’s, which would give us a fair chance of actually finding each other. I was thinking late September in Edinburgh or Glasgow. Anyone up for it?
Obviously I’d prefer Glasgow, but if ganged up on, could be persuaded to try Edinburgh.
I agree with using a pub with signal this time! I know some people object to Wetherspoons on principle, but the upstairs of the Crystal Palace on Jamaica Street is quite civilised (and well placed for people watching, if you get a window table).
I think **ScaeryFaery **and **Gary Kumquat **were also interested.
Would be good to see **Scougs **again too, and I assume **Dunkelheit **will be accompanying you Paul?
End of Sept might work for me, we’re just back from Canada by then and he’s been grumbling about not having seen his family for a while so we could possibly combine the two.
I’ve been to the Crystal Palace, they never ran out of beer when we were there but presumably because they were forewarned!
Probably not - technically you’re meant to be able to take a little person into the family area there as long as you’re ordering main meals, but we’ve had difficulty there before, and I wouldn’t put it past the barstaff to insist that *everyone *at the table have a meal to comply with the rules
