Because I’m feeling insomniac, a quick lookie at CatinaSuit’s posts.
First, here’s my previous WoW. Only thing that jumps out at me that I haven’t mentioned previously is that CiaS took a couple pokes at AllWalker over the whole day-end timing issue. Also, if I’d taken another look at the WoW earlier, I’d have noticed that I’d pre-emptively FOS’d Cat if Freudian turned out Town.
Looking at Cat’s posts since, he looks like he was playing “good townie” on Day 3 - maybe better that Alkie didn’t read past page 18 :). I guess he could have been trying to cover for an inactive-scum tiltawhirl in his WoW on her; the only other bit that jumps out at me, sad as I am to report it, comes from the conclusion to his wall of words on Normal:
The whole point of that (in addition to doing the “look at Townie me doing a wall of words” thing) could have been to get the smudge of Drain in at the end. But the snuggling of me and Normal supra doesn’t look great for us, and of course especially for me.
Well, it’s not like I didn’t give you a very large hint about asking for berynium overNight. I would have been disappointed if you missed it.
Nope, not scum. Definitely screamer, but not scum. It also won’t confirm you as well, but I do think you are Town, third party just doesn’t make sense.
Bling miller - I like that and probably accurate.
I have no problems with Alka Seltzer being leader for the Day because I do think he is town. Of course, the fact he has been confirming townies, left, right and centre should perhaps have given him a clue that he was only there to confirm townies.

I suppose you lot would like a role claim. Paraphrased along these lines
I am a Model 5 Town Aligned Screamer. I was living in the town before the other screamers came. The berynium came from sources, some legitimate and some not so legitimate. I was the Head Screamer, but I was enjoying watching the little fleshlings run around.
I was approached by the Scum Leader, a model 5 Screamer like myself, to see if I wanted to join their group in killing the rest of the town, but I declined. However, he did deactivate my ability to kill, so if I did find him again I would not be able to take the logical step and deal with the problem. That doesn’t mean I couldn’t find him again.
However, it looks like someone killed him on Night 1. That’s right, I believe Jimmy Chitwood was the Scum Leader, as he was a Screamer 5. I don’t believe there are two of us in the game. He is not marked as godfather, because I had a small chance of the finding him.
If you are wondering why I didn’t claim miller. I look and act like vanilla despite not being vanilla. I believe the same would have gone for JC as well. So, here I am now, after Night 1, effectively vanilla. Irony at its finest.

None of these are the Scum Leader. I keep checking, you never know, maybe I was wrong about JC, but I don’t think so.
Having watched the movie on the weekend, I feel I have to say that there was a ‘friendly’ screamer in it.
However I don’t believe CatInASuit’s claim, it relies on Alka’s Role information to be incorrect. As we are not in a gastard game then everything in our role PMs has to be true.
Worst case we lose a vanilla town screamer (sure…), but more likely we are toasting the Head Screamer. If Cat is not a head screamer then we must look at Alka closely.
I will be voting for Cat’s head as soon as lynch votes open up.
I don’t buy it. Not just because of the sheer improbability of it, but it doesn’t fit what we already know. If Model 5s are supposed to be Head Screamers Jimmy would have been called a Head Screamer too.
Nah, I see this as a Scum ploy, the only ploy that works after being outed - try to sow confusion. Expect my vote.
Yeah, the big problem with this is that it’s not testable. I fully expect Alka to die toNight if we let Cat live to test the claim, and then we’re stuck without the knowledge of whether or not Jimmy had berynium. Sorry, but you’re going to die toDay. If you’re Town, then we know Alka was lying about his role.
Well, if it’s an attempt to sow confusion, it’s a cruddy one, at least on its face. It’s not like he said anything that remotely indicates he should not be lynched. Even if he’s telling the truth, we’re not near LyLo; we can afford to lynch a “miller”. The only thing that might really qualify as confusion is his little list of not-Head-Screamers there, which could turn into major WIFOM if he does flip Scum.
Considering he knows he has been caught by this post I would expect anything in there to be designed purely to cause confusion. I would act as if this post did not exist (assuming he comes up as head screamer when lynched). If he comes up as Town Head Screamer then I think we should put Pedescribe up for next lynch
Alka very specifically mentions three town and one scum. Are you suggesting that he just jumped to the conclusion that the Head Screamer was scum, or does that sound like he was told that is the case in his PM.
It will be a simply manner for Alka to correct us if he merely assumed some of the facts stated in his claim.
Even if he does flip Scum, it’s obvious that all of the people on the list are not-Head-Screamers; everyone else in the game is. (If the claim is honest, the list still doesn’t really tell us anything, as any of the people on it could be a junior Screamer).
One other thing that occurred to me; on the off chance the Head Screamer is also a bomb, I think Gryff, Boozy, OneAndOnly and probably Alka should keep their votes off of him. Feel free to use me as a clock-starting vote, Alka.
