I probably should not leave this unanswered or I’ll be haunted by it later on.
My NETA clarified the object pronoun “him” as, although the context referred to CIAS, the sentence could have been parsed as referring to Alka, who is not the object of the proposed “lynch”. I didn’t see an issue with the time reference as I’m in Spain and the intention was to vote CIAS tonight (no capitals), this afternoon for those based in the US.
I fully deserve this nit-picking as I’ve done so myself previously 
I think you’re being a little overaggressive, doc. It’s completely plausible that Guiri meant CIAS with the ‘him’, and considering that a lynch is the start of Night is just as reasonable a way to think of it as any other.
How is pointing out a possible slip being overaggressive? I didn’t vote for her or even FOS. Her word choice was bad. In this game the words “day” and “night” have very specific meanings. But she has explained herself and I’m satisfied her comments were benign.

Checked my role PM. It lists the 3 town roles, and then says the final cache is held by the Head Screamer.
Flavour-wise, I can’t dismiss Cat’s claim, but I’m finding it pretty unlikely:
- “I was living in the town before the other screamers came.” Why would the Head Screamer be a loner? Head implies underlings.
- I don’t see any reason for his partial (and mis-leading) initial claim, where he says he would appear vanilla. Vanilla to who exactly? Daphe was just a role-cop. And if Cat really is our investigator, he’s hardly going to investigate himself.
- I don’t see why Cat would say Tom ‘looks scummy’ if he had a result on him.
Oh, I saw that, I just thought nothing of it. It was the kind of question any player might ask.
Gryff has it right, if Cat flips scum this should be ignored. Assuming Cat is scum, they have had plenty of time to consider what they would do if I found him. The claim could be a role-fishing attempt, or an attempt to try and gain town cred for another scum player.
It’s a null test right now, smart townies would only dispute his investigations as a last resort, and scum or 3rd parties probably would not do so at all.
I’m wondering if the nature of Daphne’s wounds indicates she was double-killed (serrated wounds sound like screamers, while stab wounds might be an SK). However, this might be a bit of a stretch on my part.

@Normal Phase - Was it you or amrussel who made a bit of a case against CatInASuit on day 1 or early day 2? Something along the lines of “seems overly concerned about his reputation”. I can’t find the post now.

You know, I told myself I would unvote if Alka couldn’t clarify that the Head Screamer was Scum, but all of the inconsistencies in what Cat is saying is enough to push this one over the edge for me. I find especially compelling the earlier smudging of Tom at a point after he’d allegedly investigated him. Can’t have it both ways.
Do you know where that was? (sorry, everybody’s been smudging Tom this game, myself included. It’s hard to keep track of who’s done which)
