All of Ords on the Acky AllWalker:
Begin Day 1
116 would see a Miller claim as suspicious
216 elects Tom Scud
233 urges OaOW not to claim
297 fluff
331 Thursday vote for Friday day end; disagrees with Chronos for OaOW vote; asks peeker why he’s picking on a perfectly inoffensive post by Tom Scud
335 Notes OaOW’s soft claim saved Town from chasing down a blind alley
339 tech support fluff
367 is Town aligned [sort of]; sees jpei nonvote as a noob mistake; unofficially votes peeker for unwarranted prosecution of Tom Scud
425 hopes everyone is okay with Friday day-end; queries Drain Bead about “confidence in their Towniness”; doesn’t like reference to 2 scum teams.
441 wonders why peeker has gone quiet
442 picks on ColdPhoenix for voting someone for not claiming Town, then hurriedly claiming Town. Wonders why Drain Bead FOS’d everyone who hadn’t claimed Town when she also said lie detector thing was pointless.
510 clarifies “A” doc to Cat; wonders what “A” doc claim means, why peeker made it.
517 fluff
583 clarifies “I am Town” statement. also: “This situation makes lynching a claimed Doc less a bad idea than setups where we think or know there is only one Doc. However, having said that, since Day 1 lynches are almost without exception failures, I think voting for peeker toDay is a bad call, unless we really have nothing else to go on.”
585 arguing with Gryff about doc claims; the problem Day 1 is that any given vote is likely to hit a Town.
589 "Well, that’s true. But here is something to consider when suggestion we hang a claimed Doc (should it come to that, for example):
a) If he really is a Doc, then we lose the Doc entirely. It was as if we never had the role in the first place. This, obviously, hurts Town badly.
b) If it is a Scum, then Town buys itself an extra mislynch and that is all. "
598 fluff
600 doesn’t like extant cases vs. peeker (who he considers scummy but not enough to lynch a claimed doc), jpei or Drain Bead. Considers Boozy but thinks Boozy is just being Boozy, not acting scummy.
601 thinks Chronos vs. OaOW is definitely Chronos fishing
607 has looked over OreDigger, doesn’t see anything suspicious
609 votes Chronos
622, 676 fluff
677 thinks peeker posting role title is good idea.
740 votes jpei for coup
799 unvotes jpei, allows that majority may be right in analyzing his pro vs. antitowniness. Votes BillMC for lurking, bad vote on boozy.
800 fluff
850 asks Gueri why he thinks Allwalker’s vote on Chronos was dubious.
854 continues to dispute Gueri on “dubiousness”
End Day 1
905 fluff
906 analyzes expressed preferences for Day 1 end; concludes he was within consensus with a Friday end [analysis subsequently discredited]
907 notes previous post’s analysis was a bit flawed, still thinks preference was reasonable.
911, 913, 927, 932 fluff
Begin Day 2
1017 elects Boozy as most likely Town; speculates that TexCat tried to recruit a scum.
1023 notes that TexCat probably didn’t announce who she was targeting because she wanted to get at least one recruitment under her belt first.
1082 wishes power roles would stop claiming
1086 Wednesday Day end is good for me
1161 stolen shiny stuff seems to point to third party; back and forth with Guiri about when day ought theoretically to be ended
1178 defends Tom Scud vs. peeker on bling speculation, post speed.
1201 runs numbers on Tom Scud posting speed, thinks not so fast as to be suspicious.
1223 “I have to say this, the last and only* time I played with DaphneBlack - which was the Werewolf Split game - Daphne was loud, bold and original. And she was Town. Now she is quiet and far more bandwagony.” (but won’t vote just on that)
1306 long analysis post on peeker and Daphne claims re roleblockers:
“So we either have:
a) Town and Scum roleblockers
b) Daphne is lying
c) peeker is lying”
Daphne lying would be very risky. Comes to no clear conclusion. votes FS for weird day 1 posting, epic lurking. Wonders if Town should lynch a town roleblocker anyway.
1309, 1310, 1334 - argument with peeker over peeker’s theory about what happened day 1.
1507 - 1509, 1517: fluff fluff oops double post never mind.
End Day 2
1521 - mislynches are bad, but not voting is worse
1567 - thinks Scuba Ben’s theory that there might be retaliatory powers is possible.
Begin Day 3 (plus Day 4)
1621 - thinks peeker likely blocked and killed; most likely second night kill came from (compulsory) vig; elects Alka
1669 "I will just chime in to say I see Chronos as a good vote, for reasons stated just now, as well as the fact that confirmed Townie peeker was adamant on this point. " [2 votes on Chronos at this point]; will vote later [he didn’t]
1684 peeker’s opinion about Chronos should be taken seriously, as we know for sure that it is pro-Town.
1713 responding to Chronos’ post of his program: “5 Scum, with 1 on them an Investigator? That is a lot. I suppose this game is big and powered, so that might not be too far off, but that is one hell of a Scum team.”
1787 Thinks Drain Bead is reading too much into Tom Scud’s “save your ass” comment.
End Day 3
1947 fluff
1948 endorses someone doing WoW on him; reiterates reasons for Day 1 Chronos vote.
Begin Day 4
2018 “Even though I didn’t vote yesterDay, I was hardly late to the bandwagon.”
2031 “I don’t buy it. Not just because of the sheer improbability of it, but it doesn’t fit what we already know. If Model 5s are supposed to be Head Screamers Jimmy would have been called a Head Screamer too.”
2048 - reiterates previous point; head screamer would be called Head Screamer, not Investigator
2108 votes CiaS
2113 “If an Investigator turns up Scum, there’s no need to hold it back. I don’t understand proTown motivations for turning the findings into a huge, drawn out theatrical production.”
Day 1 notes:
his leader vote looked fine at the time; the first day bandwagons pretty much all looked like crap, even for Day 1; his choice of Chronos now looks pretty damn good. In particular, given the crappy appearance of the bandwagons at the time, there was every possibility he could have started a new wagon on Chronos; seems unlikely a scum would have taken that risk with one of their key roles.
The scuffle with Guiri looks perfectly understandable; Guiri is really hard to read IMO.
Day 2 notes:
1223 looks kind of smudgy.
1306: I’ve never understood “lynch the town roleblocker” but it seems to be Mafia CW. Seems to me the potential late game advantages more than outweigh the early game hassles.
What a total waste of time that whole “scum must have killed TexCat” argument was. I understand why a bunch of compulsive arguers felt the need to keep picking at it, but Lord.
Day 3 notes:
I’d thought without looking that AllWalker had endorsed a Chronos vote after Normal had voted (my unofficial cut-off for considering a Chronos vote a possible bussing); at #2 and a half, he looks better on that count.
Off-topic, but anyone who feels like WIFOMing themselves to death can try and figure out if Chronos deliberately embedded any misleading assumptions into his program.
Conclusion: I think he’s probably Town, and not because he defended me a couple times; he was relatively early on to the Day 3 Chronos wagon, and his Day 1 Chronos vote, though a singleton that he later changed, was cast at a time when it was plausible it would have picked up steam. I have a hard time seeing a Scum risk it when he could easily and safely have jumped on board the jpei wagon; at that point, jpei had posted almost nothing but self-defense posts.
