i kind of have to agree with chronos on this one. there sure has been a lot of supposition of why this and why that and maybe this and maybe that regarding jimmy. while a certain amount of that is natural and beneficial it also behooves us to remember that jimmy was scum. therefore, any snuggling, smudging or this or that must be taken with a grain of salt.

i don’t believe that i ever played in a game with daphne so i have no baseline on which to measure past interactions and behaviors. and if i have it certainly left nothing indelible in my mind.
she (gosh, i hope i get the right gender) seems to be consistently ambivalent about claims and the lack thereof. she also seems to be reactive to other folks as opposed to leading the way. she’s played in a couple of games (i’d guess three to five). i can’t see her leading a charge not congruent without at least a small subset backing her up.
she’s probably in her late 20s to early 30s. her favorite drink is a pint (except she sneaks gin on the side). i’d also hazzard to guess that her favorite sexual position is female superior.
is this at all what you were looking for, and why do you ask?
oh, and if daphne has a protuberance as opposed to an intuberance then the sexual position conclusion might have to be re-evaluated.

/Retracting as promised, I probably read too much into a couple of posts taken out of context - clutching at straws to find someone worthy of a vote. Will keep on trying.
Is it just my impression or do our eaders actually go pretty quiet immediately after being confirmed in their role? While they certainly need to be a little more careful with what they say as they are open to additional scrutiny, it appears (to me at least) that AllWalker and Jpei seemed to go all shy once confirmed as leader and really only posted anything substantial when it was time to place their vote. Even Boozy’s gone pretty quiet which seems quite out of character and I hope he doesn’t follow the trend. Maybe there’s a post restriction or something?
As for the week ending on a certain day, we should take into account that when night ends we have 24 hours to elect a leader so a Day End on Thursday or Friday would not be favorable to people who are not very active over the weekend (which seems like the majority) and won’t be able to vote.
We also need to consider that the leader’s vote starts the countdown so everyone should have a fair chance to see that and react as necessary so a vote on Saturday or Sunday (with Sunday or Monday Day Ends) leaves limited discussion time.
A Day End on Tuesday or Wednesday would be favorable to scum as they’d have 2 full weekdays to strategize and perform their night actions - we don’t want that!
So it looks, to me at least, that the only remaining day end left is Saturday, with the leader vote taking place as early as possible on Friday morning. This would mean day starts again on Monday morning and town have 5 weekdays to decompose the kilings, gather info and decide to vote.
It’s probably a little late for toDay but hopefully useful info for toMorrow and the next leader.
well i am universally skeptical of magic bags. however, this one seems to have been more thrust upon you than initiated by you. so in that regard it gets more of a pass than typical. so it’s your call in my book. if you think it helps town then go for it. if it doesn’t then don’t. of course, only you know what it is so only you can make that determination. sure, i’d personally like to know but not saying anything will not cause me to villify or praise you.

On Drain Bead, I’m still thinking she is likely to be town, but for a different reason now. She brought up the idea that scum might be able to day talk, which I consider a major piece of information. She might have done this to buy town cred, but only at the cost of helping town.

Were it not for the shiny stuff being stolen, I’d agree with you. But while it’s possible the Scum is stealing the shiny, I think that seems like it would be more of a third-party mechanism. It certainly doesn’t seem like a pro-Town action, at any rate.
Yeah, I was about to post something similar. While Scum Investigators make sense if there are a decent number of Town power roles, the stealing of shiny stuff intrigues me. While it could be a Townie or a Scummy needs X piles of shiny stuff to build a machine or something, my first thought was a 3rd party thief.

But having the Day end on a weekend, esp. early weekend, when people aren’t around is bad too. I was only voted for leader after I promised not to end the Day at a weird time.
