The only reason a scum roleblocker would NOT have blocked peeker last night is if peeker is also scum. If Daphne is outed as scum, I think we’ve essentially found two for the price of one. Of course, if she’s not, that puts us in quite the bind, as it in no way confirms peeker, we’ve killed a town power that might have been useful at some point. The idea upthread about how the power, if pro-Town, should have been used to attempt to confirm me last Night, was a good one. Daphne, any reason why you chose not to block me, when you maintained suspicion of me all of Day 1 and could have potentially figured it out one way or another?
It occurs to me that my time in this game is short. If Daphne dies and is scum, I don’t expect to survive the Night. If Daphne dies and is Town, I don’t expect to survive the following Day. 
Chronos, I’ve explained why I blocked FS. It wasn’t down to logic, sorry. It was down to her weird post 209. I don’t play the same way you do, I’m afraid. Just because I made a move you consider illogical doesn’t mean I’m scum.

Clearly every single bloody thing I have done in this game is awful bad and stupid. I’m really frustrated and tempted to just give up at this point. The only reason I’m bothering to hang around at this point is in the hope that my lynch will out scum somehow. I think there’s a good chance it will, too bad I have fucked everything up so bad I won’t be able to help personally.
I’m remembering why I always need a long break between games. I shouldn’t let this get to me the way it has.
thankfully that insanity has passed for the moment. and each day that i stay alive benefits town more and more. good point on the protecting. but that’s kind of fauxed as well. scum would have to bet that i wouldn’t self protect and then on top of that bet that i would get lucky enough to protect the target that they deem more valuable than a doc.
and of course, i appreciate the fact that you at least give me the acknowledgement that i can protect.
Daphne should not reveal any role information at this point, but has no reason to withhold a player’s alignment if she knows it.

That’s a good point, but it’s a stretch to say that makes Daphne scummy. Since when did townies always make the best decisions? I’m not sure it would have occurred to me, I’d probably have gone for a player I was finding scummy.
@Chronos - Does Daphne’s claimed block of FS make more sense to you if Daphe is town or scum?

Again, I’ll haven’t really done more than scan over this thread so far today, so I’ll get back on and see if there’s more support for me voting tonight, and whether there’s been a critical mass of votes. If both of those things are true, I’ll vote tonight, otherwise, I’ll vote tomorrow night.
As I said, Drain Bead was the logical choice for a Town roleblocker. For a Scum roleblocker, I can think of several possibilities: They might have targeted peeker, for instance, if he isn’t Scum, to prevent him from stopping the kill. They might have targeted Boozahol or wanderers, again if they’re nott Scum, gambling on whether their unknown powers are worth more or less than a Doctor. They might have picked up on Freudian’s concern about a role-blocker, and figured she might be a power role. Jimmy might have been allowed to make an investigation on Night 0 (remember, the mods said that mostly nothing happened Night 0), and discovered that Freudian was a power role. They might have chosen their block target at random, in case a watcher-type role was watching the person they targeted. They might have targeted someone else entirely, and then lied about who they targeted in the hopes of being less conspicuous.
To sum up, I don’t see good Town play that leads to Daphne targeting Freudian, but (depending on a lot of things we don’t know) I can maybe see a few possible good Scum plays that lead to her targeting her (or at least, saying she’s doing so).

why would scum block me and not kill me? that kind of makes, no sense. unless they knew something about a potential protect that they absolutely needed/wanted dead. remember potential Night 0 actions and revealed deaths.

Well, thing is, the bit about Jimmy’s change of heart ALSO doesn’t really hold up to scrutiny - there were no less than 4 other players before Jimmy’s message who counseled against a trial-by-vig. By the time Jimmy spoke up there was basically no chance a vig who wasn’t in love with the idea was likely to do it.
In general, your WoW on Jimmy still looks to me more like someone trying to get the facts to point in a particular direction and less like someone following the facts where they pointed.
But that wouldn’t have been at all clear last night.

Well, because if there is a scum roleblocker, and they didn’t block you, I really have to wonder why they’d do that. It would definitely make me more suspicious.
(I can see why they would block and not kill, because they were hoping to set up a lynch today, and maybe they’d get lucky and have a vig do their work for them. Risky, but there you go.)
