Scrubs 4/18 - "His Story III"

So…they jsut did a “His Story III”, will they be able to pull off a “Her Story III?” They really only have one choice, and that’s Jordan, and I don’t know how effective it would be. Anyway, on to this episode.

Great lines include:

“Drill-fork, you can drill and fork!..Mostly fork.”

“I may have voided your warrenty.”

“Now help him up so he thinks there’s hope for our relationship yet.”
“Although he kidnapped me, by helping me up I couldn’t help but think there was hope for our relationship yet.”

I knew JD was going to say that exact line as soon as the Janitor said it, and yet I still laughed out loud. I love Scrubs.

Me too. As far as Scrubs episodes go, though, this one just didn’t do it for me. Which is sad, because I just love Dr. Jan Itor.

Solid episode. A little JD-lite, but good. I loved the parent-not-cool storyline. So funny. Cox’s glee when Turk pulled up in a mini-van was classic.

I loved the janitor’s vision of what life would be like without him at the hospital. The hot nurse is no longer pregnant.

Also, if I were a janitor, I’d want to janitor my way across Europe.

Question: was that Rob Cordry? The doctor who was sassing Janitor behind his back? It seemed like a small part, but looked just like him.

J.D.: Uh, excuse me. His name is Optimus Prime and I don’t think he’d appreciate being called the ‘big ugly one’.

I love J.D. and Turk and their uber-nerdy relationship.

Okay, THAT part was funny. Especially when they’d painted Optimus Prime as shooting the crib.

I loved that - I was a little embarrassed that I recognized him as Optimus Prime before they said anything about him :o .

Good episode last night, but it seemed a little lower-key than usual.

ElzaHub found the Turk/Carla stuff hit a LITTLE too close to home, though - I had to promise him I wasn’t going to make him go out and buy a minivan  .

E.

And what a quick cameo by Markie Post!

"When you talk to what’s-his-name, tell him “Thank You.”

“Jesus?”

“That’s him.”

Watching Turk get face-crushed by the white guy was priceless.

Any main characters left to give their story besides Kelso? Jordan and Ted are about it. Maybe LAverne, but that seems unlikely.

THE TODD!

“They call me the pig…”

Oh, dear God…YES!

I didn’t even think aabout it! Maybe because they’re so good about not oversaturating the show with The Todd, but I think I could handle one The Todd-centric episode in a season:D.
