Did we learn the Janitor’s name is Josh? Who knows?

I found it interesting that Carla knew about Turk’s major medical condition before JD did. I think that shows a maturing shift in the relationship. And testicular torsion…yikes! Can’t they just untwist it?

Poor Ted. I really hope he comes into his own one day.

What was Eliot doing in the men’s room? I also liked how she was able to keep a secret from Carla until it mattered. And it was interesting to show a man with breast cancer…I’m sure there are a lot of men out there who don’t believe that can happen.

All in all, I thought it was a good episode.

Well, the line that 'Turk was really fast without that extra testicle weighing him down" was one of the most painfully funny lines ever.

Ow!

It’s odd to me that I still enjoy the show, even though when I try to reconcile it with what it was in Season One, my brain hurts. Same characters, totally different feel.

Anyway, Plant Turk was hilarious.

The first time Eliot went into the men’s room was because the women’s was closed for cleaning and the men’s happened to empty. I don’t know why she and Carla were in there later.

Plant Turk was funny and creepy.

Plant Turk was bizarre. Sometimes JD’s daydreams go on to long, although Amigoville last week was funny.

Why did Eliot and Carla jump aboard the Kelso train at the end? Despite having a scant few moments where a little bit of humanity shines through, he is for the most part a terrible person and I can’t justify in my mind why any of the cast would be in his corner.

While Cox tries his best to be a hardass, at least he genuinely cares about the patients and would be much better suited for Kelso’s job. I figured that was how the final season was going to end.

He deflowered the virgin!

Wow. Does Janitor really have a name?

He’d be TERRIBLE at Kelso’s job. He has no patience or mind for politics or administration. He’d bankrupt the place in three months.

I agree that Cox wouldn’t be good in Kelso’s position. Kelso’s willing to make hard choices that benefit the entire hospital, like when he let the rich man in a drug trial to get money to keep the prenatal clinic open. Cox wouldn’t do that.

No, the Janitor’s name is not Josh. In the little speech, he was saying how he’d been called a lot of hurtful things in his life, Josh being one of them. So it seems he just doesn’t like the name Josh.

For what it’s worth, the producers keep saying we’ll find out his name for real in the last episode this season (which might be the series finale if ABC doesn’t continue it…which I don’t think they will since I’m 90% sure Zack Braff won’t come back anyway.)

ETA: And Elliott wants to help Dr.Kelso because she feels guilty, and Carla is her friend and helping her. And to echo what other people have said, Dr.Kelso is not a good person, but he’s a great hospital administrator. He gets the hospital grants, donations, and is able to see the big picture more than someone like Perry, who would save the one guy that he knows and is talking with rather than the potential dozens/hundreds that he will never meet from keeping a baby-mobile running.

Yes, but in his litany of hurtful names (zebra poacher being one of them) he said there was a little bit of truth to each of them. So take that for what it’s worth.

Terrible episode. It just sat there.

The Turk-losing-some-excess-weight thing is so out of the blue and unnecessary that is more typical of a sitcom on its last legs. Not a good sign.

It’s season 7. Way too late to make Ted have a new “superpower”.

The story with the cancer patient was just left hanging. Just a lot of odds and ends. Script by committee?

Just my WAG, but I want to get it down in print before his real name is revealed (which is supposed to happen this season), so I can look smart.

This is total speculation, but I’ll spoiler-box it anyway. I don’t think his name is Josh.

I think the Janitor’s name is Guy. His girlfriend’s name is Lady, and once or twice she’s said, “There’s my guy!”
What could be better than Guy and Lady?

I think is name is Neil because he was in the Fugative and admitted it to JD

I heard that the janitor’s actual name is Sir Plungelot.

Or maybe he’s actually Dr. Jan Itor?
