I actually noticed that last weekend when I was doing the data entry, but I’d forgotten it. LuckyNumber did the same thing with the “This is Sharpie” bracket, except they picked Villanova over Duke in the national semifinals (as they should have, since Villanova was the #2 national seed and Duke the #3). You two even picked the same total number of points in the final, although Sharpie has a 69-66 final instead of boring’s 70-65.

I can’t believe my boring by the books bracket now relies on Duke making it to the finals even to pull off a tie, they never fail to bust my brackets, win or lose. But I’ll back Retrovertigo for one more round. Go Duke! Sort of. A little ways.
Can’t believe I didn’t have enough faith in my alma mater to pick them to beat Kentucky. Unless I’m reading the standings and point possibilities wrong, Thing Fish’s “Boring” bracket has clinched the title for the year with my bracket coming in 2nd (or tied for 2nd if Duke wins Monday). I guess I won the single entry subdivision.
Go Badgers!
ETA: Yeah, I read that wrong. Retrovertigo wins if Duke wins.
Congrats to Retrovertigo! Wasn’t sure going in to this thing if it would be all that interesting…but there were a heck of a lot of good games this season. As usual, this really was the most wonderful time of the year.
