Yahoo projects me at 12-1 and that’s counting Zeke’s suspension as full. 2nd in power rankings.
If some of you lovely people want to do draft reviews like in years past I enjoy reading them.
Where are the projections and automated analysis?
On the main league page, instead of current standings you can select projections and power rankings. I can’t find the draft grade function they had in previous years - there’s a mock draft grade function, but I can’t find the one for the actual draft.
I found a tech support question asking where the draft grades were and the answer was “currently not working, engineers are aware of the issue and working on it.” And that was back on August 20…
It did give Chisquirrel the award for “best draft” though.
As well it should. I even ended up with $6 left, so I took the pup for ice cream.
The formula for that is a bit simplistic - it merely adds up the projected fantasy points of everyone on your team, high score wins. It ignores byes, positions, matchups, and everything else that can make or break a draft.
The standard draft system has working grades. I’ve done two other Yahoo drafts in the past week and gotten both the letter grade and the analysis (which never seems to match the grade, for some reason).
So if someone just drafted 8 QBs they’d get the best grade? Yeah that’s pretty dumb.
There’s an end of draft screen that shows the total projected points from all positions, but that’s not what the projections and power rankings from the league page are based on. Those are based on best projected lineup for every game.

I tried to get a bet out of it.
That’s what they SAID, but I don’t believe it. They put me in first place…actually, looking at Week 1, maybe that’s right.
I figured resident Bears fan Omni was going to be who I’d have to outbid for Tarik Cohen, but Overly Sentimental blew the doors off with a $44 bid.
Why does it show that SenorBeef won Buck Allen with a $24 bid, outbidding himself at $23?
Probably has to do with multiple bids with different drop players. Weird though.
If I want player A and player B, and prefer to drop player X if I can only get one, but X and Y if I have to get both, rather than dropping A for X and B for Y, I set it up to drop A for X, B for X, then B for Y. That way if I only won one of the players I’d drop my preferred drop (X) first. I could’ve made the same bid and then rearranged the waiver claim order but I was in a hurry so I just made the bids $1 more to make sure it would execute higher.
Yeah gotcha. Still getting used to Yahoo’s weird interface.
Damn Lions. Just needed 'em to kick a field goal at the end instead of running on 4th down and I’d be 2-0. Alas…

I mean, I suppose RNTAB is 0-4 and figures his season is over if he doesn’t win now, but still…
I like to check and see what the other bids were. Interesting how much/little variance there sometimes is. Of course, there are the times when you just need a guy…
