Glad I had a bye, because my team just epically failed this week. It seems like fantasy scores are low across the board.
Gridbirds has an 18 point lead, Eli Manning, and Jason Witten against Court Jesters’ Favre and Mason.
New York Fanboys has a 42 point lead, Nicks, and Celek against Omni’s Andre Johnson, Sidney Rice, Arian Foster, and Neil Rackers.
Isotopes has a 9 point lead, Ray Rice, and Ryan Longwell against Frosted Lightning’s Eagles D.
Hmm, this league lists all the games, not just the fantasy playoffs. Must be the 6 game playoff structure, giving the whole bottom of the league the consolation bracket. Doesn’t work that way in 4 or 8 team playoff leagues.
Petey, our only playoff team with a losing record, beats 3rd seed Frosted Lightning.
Ellis Dee has a 42 point lead with Nicks still to play over Omni’s Andre Johnson, Sidney Rice, Arian Foster, and Neil Rackers. It’s definitely still a game - reports are that Hicks might not even play the full game.
It seems like fantasy scores are down across the board this week (average score must be 20 points lower than usual) but I especially got killed. I have the most points scored in this league by a decent bit, yet this week would’ve been an utter disaster for me if I had a game to play. I’ve only scored under 100 points twice all year, but this week I scored 37 points so far, albeit with Peterson still to play. Just disastrous.
No doubt. I don’t think I’ve guessed right yet with the Marcedes Lewis/Aaron Hernandez platoon. Just a hint for all you potential Gronkowski owners out there…if I start Hernandez, get the mighty Gronk in your line-up 'cuz he’s about to go off.
Can’t wait to see how things go down tonight between Ellis Dee and Omni. Good luck dudes.
That was a nice pickup Petey. I guess its time for me to root for the underdog. Honestly, can’t feel too bad about swapping Branch in and out and ultimately benching him. That weather was crazy but I should’ve figured they’d come out throwing anyway. Now its just time for me to defend the 3rd place title!
What a disaster this is for me. I lead the league by 200+ points and my team was utterly dominant the last few weeks of the regular season, but I’ve lost Rodgers, Bowe has no Cassel, Lloyd is hurt, his QB is hurt, and their offense imploded. Calvin Johnson has Drew Stanton throwing him the ball. I went from crushing teams by 50 points a week to not even being a projected favorite over a 7-6 team
Head to head/playoff based fantasy leagues can be fickle.
After having spent all day at the ER and taken a medicine that has kept me up for 30+ hours, I don’t think I’m gonna be able to wake up to see if Garrard is playing before the games start in a few hours. So I’m starting Jason Fucking Campbell. In a playoff game.
My team was a wrecking ball for 6 damn weeks all to culiminate in this, all to culiminate in no Rodgers, an Ortonless Lloyd, a Hill-less Calvin Johnson, and a possibly Cassel-less Bowe. And a questionable Adrian Peterson who’s gonna face 13 in the box with Joe Web handing him the ball.
Inconclusive! After never being allergic to anything in all my life, I’m suddenly allergic to something in my own house so severely that my throat will close up. And I have absolutely no idea what it could be.
Thanks for the offer, but apparently with what they gave me my heart is never going to ever stop beating under 100bpm again so I’ve just decided I will discard sleep.
Feel better Beef. Hopefully your matchup will be a blow out, that way its less stressful. I am predicting a close game before I clinch my (barely) top 5 finish by beating the NY Fanboys on the back of Giants TE Boss.
These might not be accurate because the games are happening as I write this.
I have a 22 point lead on Omni with Campbell and Miller to play. He’s got Cutler, Rice, Forte, and the Falcons D. He’s the favorite but it’s pretty close. His coaching grade this week is probably gonna suck cause he’s got some big days on his bench.
Isotopes has a 50 point lead on Great Old Ones with Roddy White, Ryan Longwell, and the Pats still to play. Great old ones has… Mike Wallace and a kicker. Yeah, it’s over. The guy with the losing record is heading to the championship game.
He got a couple of epic performances from Ray Rice, Santana Moss, and Rivers…and he’s still going. Good time to have his biggest week of the year. Oh well, any given team, any given week.
Looks like I’ll be watching the championship in both my leagues.
Well it wouldn’t be my crowning moment to win the game with 83 points, but I’ve got a chance. Omni is 33 points back with Cutler, Rice, and Forte to play. So I’m hoping the weather is crappy and it’s a low scoring game.
I made kind of a bold move to grab Hightower to start over Peterson, and that obviously failed pretty hard. But Hightower has been getting 75%+ of the carries for Ari and just put up like 150/2 last week, and he was playing against the 2nd worst run defense. Compared to Peterson, who was hurt, who’d see stacked boxes due to having no QB, and was playing against one of the top run defenses…
But Arizona is so fucking soft they couldn’t even push Carolina around a little bit.
And the Cleveland D… just quit. Cinci is giving up the most points to opposing D/STs this year, and the way New England was ripping through everyone I had to find someone other than GB.
