I realize this question is not addressed to me, but I think it’ worth noting that the source he linked to doesn’t quite say that. It showed that scores for kindergarten aged children were pretty close when various factors were controlled for. But from then on, a substantial gap grew between black and white students even though these various factors had been controlled for.
Assuming the linked source is accurate, this is actually very powerful evidence in favor of NDD’s (and my) position. ETA: Especially since the size the gap was apparently smallest if the blacks were in majority white schools.
