Unfortunately, much of the evidence they’re using to avoid being racist in their own minds is flawed, created by “logical” constructs in their own minds, or in cites they obviously don’t understand.

Yes, (ETA: I’m not sure who had the best credentials) and in fact I have read that book. I have also read “The Mismeasure of Man”; the “Bell Curve,” and numerous other sources on these issues.
