Just checked your map. Not to make you paranoid, but if I was playing in the Russia/Turkey alliance I’d try to really screw you next turn. First, I’d use Rumania to support Serbia into Budapest, figuring that you’re going to try and bounce yourself there. Just in case you do Turkey advances his armies into Bulgaria and Serbia. In case you go the other way and support Vienna into Budapest I move Galicia to Vienna and take Vienna from you instead. But don’t worry, they’ll probably go for something a little more straight forward.

Yeah, I hadn’t taken into account it was Fall then. Makes my plan worthless. I’m just not so good at this “evil” thing. But actually I see hope in Italy loading up with Fleets, and France has got to be concerned. It is going to be a mess in the Balkans, though. Also, Germany is not in any immediate danger from France, especially with Italy’s fleet build up. Can you convince him to use his Munich army to help you against Italy? If you can stave off Russia and Turkey for a bit you might be able to expel Italy. (One can dream, anyway)

First, good to see that you got Trieste back. That build in Budapest should help this Winter. And Italy going down one is even better for you.
Still, I am not enthusiastic about your future prospects (re advancing in the tournament) unless you can persuade either Turkey or Italy to switch sides in order to grow fast and make it to the next round. Stalemates, even for relatively short periods of time, are death in this tournament (do you need to finish top 2 to advance?)
So, you’re certainly back to “respectable” but to win you need not only Russia to support you but for Turkey/Italy to decide someone else is easier pickin’s.

Shibb, I’ve actually been allied with Turkey since the beginning. Look at all the support orders he has given that I have ignored. I think this most recent attack on him may not be forgivable, though. I shouldn’t have asked for it, since he didn’t follow the rest of the plan.
Everyone on the board (except France) is trying to get Italy to attack France. His disband indicates that this will not happen. I am apparently better at getting people to forgive me for attacking them than I am at getting them to stop attacking me.
I will comment on your guy’s game, but not tonight.
