Would have lived Burden or Higgins here, but I need RB depth first.
I need to do bedtime with the kiddo and then noodle on a trade offer. May be a couple hours before my pick is in, sorry folks.
This is the right pick. I briefly considered your trade proposal to pick up Loveland here, but I like TreVeyon just a bit more.
I’m still waiting for the year 14 Kyle Pitts breakout
He’s still just 24 years old, and this offense has more long-term optimism now than in years past. Lucy is teeing up the football again. Are you willing to take a swing?
This sounds like the year!
Sorry for the wait folks. Things be happening. But I’m ready to pull the trigger on 2.01.
2.01 Bhayshul Tuten, RB, Jax
@Hamlet is on the clock.
Nice timing. I was in the process of correcting the team abbreviations to be proper case (eg: Buf instead of BUF) and about to repost the list, but then when I opened the thread to post it here was your pick. Serendipity.

Yes, I overpaid. But, hey, The Great Rebuild is over
That’s gotta be the biggest trade by value the league has ever seen, right?
Probably. Certainly in the running, at least.
The biggest one I recall is when I traded CMC to Jules for Saquon+Mixon back in 2021. We included a few extra players and draft picks in the deal.
Well, the guy I had slotted in for this pick that I’m very happy to take is still there. That’s a nice feeling.
A better feeling though is that “Holy Shit, he’s still there! I never imagined he’d still be available for that pick. Let’s Go!” feeling.
2.02 Tyler Warren, TE, Indy

I knew he wouldn’t drop to me but hopium is a wonderful drug
2.03 Jayden Higgins, WR, HOU
@Really_Not_All_That_Bright is up.
Updated picks list. For the trade, I swapped “pickers.” So it now shows Jules as having taken Jeanty at 1.01 and Omni as having taken Judkins at 1.08. I added a note to the end for future reference.
(5 years from now if we go looking back, we might be wondering how Jules had the #1 overall pick. He didn’t.)

2026 Trades:
Justin’s 1st rounder for Jules’ 2nd rounder
Jules’ two 1sts for Omni’s last two
Note: Jules and Omni traded Jeanty and Judkins after selecting them. Omni originally drafted Jeanty at 1.01 and Jules originally drafted Judkins at 1.08.
Just to avoid confusion it may be clearer to say:
Justin’s 1st round pick goes to Omni via Jules
Jules’ 1st round pick goes to Omni.
In previous years I think we just used “from” in parentheses.
1.01 Jules - Ashton Jeanty, RB, LV (from Omni)
1.02 Hamlet - Omarion Hampton, RB, LAC
1.03 Justin - TreVeyon Henderson, RB, NE
1.04 RNATB - RJ Harvey, RB, Den
1.05 Jules - Travis Hunter, WR, Jax
1.06 Gaffer - Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Car
1.07 Mundi - Emeka Egbuka, WR, TB
1.08 Omni - Quinshon Judkins, RB, Cle (from Jules)
Yeah, I don’t want the future aliens who are rummaging through our extinct race’s cultural leavings to see evidence that I ever earned the 1st round pick by being bad
Is that why you did the trade, to hide the evidence when the rebuild flops this year?
Everyone else tries to stock up on young fantasy studs, I just try to stock up on excuses
BTW, there’s a non-trivial possibility that I could end up with the top 3 picks next year.
My team will almost certainly be terrible again. Justin finished 3rd worst last year, and while he’s made strong moves, that result could repeat. Jules is obviously performing a massive reboot with a ton of rookies who may or may not pan out immediately.
I’d go as far as saying it will be a substantial suprise if at least 2 of those picks aren’t in the top 5.
