I wonder if James Starks has been the most bidded for player in our league in total. He keeps getting dropped and then picked up on waivers like 6 times a year. I’m happy to be off that roller coaster.
I have to admit, I like my chances.
Yeah he’ll never have a good game in the week you happen to start him.
Quarterback. I need one of those quite badly. I’ve been starting Chad Henne in EJ Manuel’s absence and now I’m starting Case Keenum.
If it’s any consolation, I really like the talent that will be coming out of college in next years’ draft.
This might be the last straw for my season. Blackmon has had 1,030 yards over his last 11 games, if he can stop, you know, having a drug problem, he’ll be a hell of a football player. And if the Jaguars offense stops sucking horribly? Forget about it.
If only he’d driven drunk or beat his spouse instead of smoking weed he could be playing this weekend.
I would be gloating a lot right now if Mike Williams wasn’t on IR.
Maybe I don’t need to trade for a quarterback after all.
I’m not going to sell too low on Trent Richardson, but if anyone feels like he’s going to become a star once he acclimates to his new team or whatever, and you’re higher on him than I am, I’ll exchange him for another promising youngish running back.
I’m in the lucky situation of having Nick Foles and I have Cutler and Cam as well, so I’m willing to trade Foles. Foles has a couple of nice matchups in the weeks ahead, Washington and Minnesota, for example.
I’m always interested in adding RB and WR depth, I’m already loaded with draft picks for next year, but I’d also accept additional draft picks for next year. I’ll be making quite a few cuts next year, and I may very well trade a draft pick or two before next year’s draft.
Trent “3 ypc” Richardson is a bust and we all know it.
I want to get on the record that I will personally drive to Washington D.C. to find, kidnap, and torture (likely by having him watch the FOX pregame on a continuous loop) Mike Shannahan if I lose this week. Giving the ball to the fullback for 3 touchdowns and not to Alfred Morris reminds me again of how much fantasy football players hate his guts.
Robert Turbin?
I don’t really see where Morris owners get off hating on Satanahan. Yeah, the fullback got three touchdowns, but your guy had a hundred yards and a touch, and you’ve been playing with house money with him for a season and a half. “Waaah, my last round flier from 2012 didn’t score four touchdowns this week!” Think about the [del]starving African children[/del] people who bet on Tim Hightower, Roy Helu and Evan Royster last year.
As the proud past owner of both Tim Hightower and Evan Royster, I remain thrilled I got Alfred for a $8 free agent bid.
Trade announcement! I get Nick Foles and Lamar Miller. dalej42 gets Knowshon Moreno. Varlos, as usual I don’t care if you put this through now or later so if dale has a preference go ahead and do it.
Nom all the running backs. ALL THE RUNNING BACKS.
Can’t push the trade through until tomorrow.
While we’re here, once again, for the record: Fucking Knowshon Moreno! Took him as a rookie in our inaugural draft, carried him on my roster for 4 thoroughly disappointing years. Then he was a healthy scratch for the first 2/3 of last year and I finally decided it was safe to dump him … then the Broncos suffer one injury at RB and John Fox decides that the guy who hasn’t even been suiting up is gonna leapfrog the whole shit-fucking roster and get 25 touches a game starting immediately. Depth charts don’t work that way!!! Now he’s putting up more points per game than Adrian Peterson and FUCK FUCK I DON’T WANT TO TALK ABOUT THIS ANYMORE
The lesson here is “always hold on to the loser that can pass protect when Peyton Manning is the quarterback.”
Incidentally, I am willing to package two or more of my 44ish* young running backs for an elite player at any position. That includes injured elite players; there’s no reason for me to keep winning games because I’m not going to catch all three 5-3 teams.
*Andre Ellington, Shane Vereen, Lamar Miller, Gio Bernard, Danny Woodhead, Robert Turbin, Kenjon Barner, Stepfan Taylor, Mark Ingram.
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
I was worried about the Lacy pick, but he has been playing pretty good the last few weeks.
