SDMB FF Dynasty League: Year Five

Heh, a big game by Romo would likely screw me in the Auction League, where I’m in a 4-way tie for first place. I care about my Dynasty League team a lot more, though.

He’s on pace for 2.3 points. That’ll hold up.

Oh Fantasy Football.

If Romo puts up shit numbers, Beef rolls over Varlos and keeps him further back in our division. But if Romo doesn’t throw it to Jason Witten, I have no hope of coming back against RNATB.

Maybe I can somehow will Romo to only throw it to Witten. That’d be nice.

This is going better than I could’ve reasonably expected. Just worried about garbage time. On the plus side, Petey, leader of my division, also lost.

19.01 points needed from Mike James and the TB defense. I’d put it somewhere around 60% chance I win. We both really need this one.

Tough break that I’m 3 TEs deep and 2 of them had a bye on the same week and the third one went on IR.

This is going to be a lot closer than I expected. I still feel good about lamar miller/wright versus Vjax, but not very.

The ridiculous thing is that I traded for Anquan Boldin because he’s more consistent than the Ruben Randle/Kenny Stills combo I’ve been using. But both Randle and Stills boomed yesterday while Boldin busted. If I had played either instead of Boldin, I’d probably be favored right now.

Come on VJax!

That trade worked out for me in every possible way.

In other news, I’m looking to package a couple of running backs (Vereen, Ellington, Turbin, Woodhead, Mark Ingram, Rashad Jennings) for a WR1.

Ok, I’m officially a ghoul. As **Beef **explained, I need for Tampa’s DEF and RB Mike James to score less than 19 points combined. James was injured on TB’s opening drive. When they came back from commercial, I literally exclaimed: “The cart! They brought out the cart! We’re in business!”

I’m still not in the clear – an above-average game from Tampa’s DEF will sink me. But, yeah…

Son of a fuck. I can’t catch a break in this league this year.

I pretty much have to hope for a shutout or defensive TD from the Bucs.

A few sacks/turnovers (combined with a little point-prevention) and you’re still ok.

Mike James would’ve gotten the extra 3 points.

Yep. Easily. He sure looked good on that first drive. Oh, and he fractured his ankle, btw, in case you had any ideas about using him as a flex player going forward.

I believe that God reached down and snapped Mike James’ ankle. God and the cat avatar I uploaded yesterday for my team.

VJax couldn’t pull it out. Curse you Anquan Boldin!

If you told me last night that Lamar Miller would finish with two rushing yards I would have bet you any amount you liked that I would have lost that game.

I am pretty stunned at how good the Buccaneers’ run defense was. The Dolphins would have had negative rushing yardage if the yards Daniel Thomas was tackled into the endzone counted.

Refresh my memory, the wild card tiebreaker for this league is divisional record or total points scored?

Mike Glennon has clearly got a future, but he can’t throw TDs with any sort of consistency. All I need was one Glennon-to-Jackson TD and I would have steamrolled you.

Or if I had just started any of my other receivers over Eddie Royal or Anquan Boldin. :smack:

Wild Card tiebreaker is total points.

Divisional tiebreaker is divisional record.

I did also have Tim Wright, who has caught nearly as many touchdowns from Glennon as Jackson has so far.

So, this was my roster immediately after this season’s draft:

I have replaced every single one of my projected starters except DeSean Jackson, Giovanni Bernard, and Steven Hauschka since this past draft - and Bernard and Hauschka were new additions from the draft.

Got it, thanks.
