SDMB FF Dynasty League: Year Six

Is there any chance we can get this trade expedited? It says it won’t go through until Friday, but I’d like to start Jennings this week. The Giants play Thursday night.

EDIT: I ask because two starters (Jennings & Bennett) for me are involved in this trade. If it gets expedited, I get one of them (Jennings) for this week. If it doesn’t, I get neither, since I won’t have Jennings by Thursday and Bennett (who I’m trading away) doesn’t play until Sunday.

I would actually prefer for it to go through next week since I have Gio on a bye, but if you need him right now I don’t object to Varlos pushing it through (since we negotiated it this week).

I’m fine either having it go through by Thursday or wait until next Tuesday. Whichever you prefer works for me, so if you wanna wait until next week, sure.

Going through on Friday is problematic in that you get to start both Jennings and Bennett, while I get to start neither, which kind of goes against the spirit of the trade. (Which is essentially Bennett for Jennings.)

EDIT: Stupid Thursday games…accept a fantasy trade Tuesday morning and it doesn’t go through until after kickoff? Gah!

EDIT 2: If we make it a next week trade, should we add provisional status? It goes through provided nobody ruptures their achilles or beats their wife between now and then?

Yeah, either way I agree that seems unfair. Varlos, can you delay this so it goes through Tuesday?

Good luck with that.

Sure. As **Ellis **asked, do you want to make the trade provisional for injury, or binding?

Oh I missed that. I’m good with whatever on the provisional thing. So yes I guess.

Ok, I’ve disallowed the trade as commissioner; after Sunday, execute it again and I’ll push it through.

Just so you know, the way I’m interpreting this is that a meaningful injury this weekend will void the trade, but if, say, Rashad Jennings fumbles twice in the 1st quarter and then Andre Williams comes in for him and runs for 175 yards and looks amazing, the deal still stands.

Injury or non football disqualifying thing, yeah.

Giggity.

Allen Robinson, my first pick at 3.2

Future all pro clearly.

Might I recommend you start him from here on out.

With metrics like those, you don’t even need to start any other wideouts.

Does anybody want Jonathan Stewart? He’s taking up a roster spot I’d like to have for the waiver wire, but he’s just barely too valuable to cut.

He can be had cheap – say, I get the option to swap 2nd Round picks with you in next year’s draft.

Wish I’d thrown more waiver money at Larry Donnell.

Wish I’d asked to expedite our trade so that I would have started him over Bennett. cries

On the plus side, I didn’t start Eli or the Giants DEF either. sigh

Yep. It’s official. I’m starting Trent Richardson, Bobby Rainey, and Allen Robinson.

Two backup RBs and a Jacksonville rookie WR.

I guess Kenbrell Thompkins is officially bust status, if I can’t start him on a week like this.

Still a projected favorite. If Rodgers doesn’t inexplicably suck again, I think I may be okay.

A TRENT RICHARDSON RUSHING TD

my god it’s full of stars

The Green Bay experience is a roller coaster this year. Trent Richardson has a useful fantasy line in the third quarter. I’m currently projected to top 160 points.

I’ve been busy all day, but how the hell does Bernard Pierce get NO points in a game in which he was active.

Tip of the hat to Stringer: I very much appreciate your strong performance this week.

I was pretty annoyed at myself for not starting Eli, Jennings, the Giants defense, and Larry Donnell, which would have given me a whopping +37 points over Big Ben, Pierre Thomas, the Steelers DEF (WTF?!) and Martellus Bennett. Some of those I couldn’t start because the trade was delayed, some I didn’t start because I was almost positive the Redskins were going to crush the Giants.

Fortunately, thanks to Stringer, it’s moot. I would have lost either way, being down over 42 points with nobody left to play and he still has the NE DEF (which he could theoretically just sit to guarantee a victory if I were only 5 points down).

So thank you, Stringer. I hate kicking myself with woulda shoulda coulda. It’s somehow comforting to know that no matter what I did, I was going to lose this game.
