SDMB FF Dynasty League: Year Six

See. Hamlet didn’t appreciate that when I crushed him.

An important game tonight. Varlos has a 6.5 point lead over Isotopes with Gostkowski still to play against Alex Smith and Dwayne Bowe. Isotopes is clearly the favorite, although Alex and Bowe certainly have the chance to be pretty low this year. This game affects the division lead for both the Northeast and Sunbelt divisions - technically Isotopes isn’t out of the division lead with a loss, I catch up to him a full game and he’s only a few points ahead of RNATB for the tiebreaker.

I picked up a much needed division win. Hamlet destroyed RNATB, another favorable result for me, and important to Hamlet to not start off 1-3.

I still have two players left. I only need Edelman and Vereen to beat their projections by… um, 20 points each. Assuming Jamaal Charles scores zero, that is. I think I’ll go ahead and pin my hopes on Smith/Bowe doing nothing so I retain a share of the division lead, though.

I don’t have him in this league by I am fucking pissed at the Ravens for making Bernard Pierce a healthy scratch. I started him as a flex in two leagues. I would have started Jerrick McKinnon instead in one of them had they just made him inactive again. Fuckers.

My team might not won a game this season.

My two bright spots (Green & Lacy) haven’t lived up to expectation, and Brady (with tonite still to prove me wrong) has seen a decline.

It is so nice not to have two starters or more go out with injuries in the first half.

Gah!!! Of course the Patriots DEF scored -6. -6! So if I made all those changes, and Stringer actually started his DEF with me being 5 points behind him, I would have won. Ugh.

I probbbbably would have benched the Pats defense if I had only been up by 5.

In any case, what we learned this week is that if the other team is close behind with nobody left to play, and you have a DEF left to go, sit that DEF!

Bah. That always seems like a dirty play to me. It just seems wrong to not field a full team. Anyway, he only told you that to make you cry.

Ugh, my once so-promising title defense season is in serious danger. 2-2, a game back in the division, with a Week 5 matchup against **Beef **and his 140 projected points. I badly need at least one of Doug Martin and Zac Stacy to break out and start producing as more than a low-end RB2. (I mean, I’m probably going to have the 2nd or 3rd highest projection every week even if that doesn’t happen, but apparently that’s not good enough.)

I’m very surprised to be leading this league in points scored after 4 weeks. Antonio Brown being the #1 WR in fantasy is certainly helping.

I miss Rashad Jennings already. And I regret not trusting my gut and getting more shares of him. Still, it’s nice to have an every-week TE again.

Honestly, I have no business being 3-1. I’m #9 in points and I’ve missed my projected score by at least 20 every week. If my team keeps producing the way they’ve been producing, I’ll be lucky to go 7-7.

I’m not entirely sure why it has you in third overall when we have the same record and I have more points - though thanks to this week I have now been outscored by all three teams in my division.

Hamlet beat me by 80+ points this week. Erk.

I’m a division leader. The wild card slot, even if they have a better record than 3 of the 4 division leaders, will always be fourth overall.

It’s a big week for both of us. But I think my guys are going to get 110%, while your guys are probably going to smoke crack and get stabbed by their baby mamas.

Let me ask you something, Varlos. Do you want me to start Trent Richardson? Because on one hand, you might think that will give you the victory. But on the other hand, you could potentially have your season trashed by a team starting Trent Richardson.

Well, I dropped Kenbrell Thompkins. So that whole thing was a bust. If I had kept my first round pick this year I’d have had Brandin Cooks, so that was a huge misstep.

Yahoo still loves to project my team highly. Varlos has the third highest projection (a point behind the 2nd place) and yet I’m still projected to beat him by 20 points. It’s a little weird since none of my matchups seem particularly great, I’m not sure why projection is unusually high.

This is a surprisingly important game for both of us this early in the season, both at 2-2. It may end up being one of those ones where we’re the #1 and #2 scorers in a week, which sucks for the loser.

Well, my odds just got a little better, I think. Rarely do you hope for one of your own players to get injured, but I have both Reggie Bush and Joique Bell, and they split Detroit’s fantasy production at RB pretty much 50/50. It’s a good offense, so that means they’re both startable, but it also caps their expectations at about low/mid-level RB2. This week Bell is doing the whole concussion protocol thing, which makes me *extra *ghoulish for hoping he’s too dinged up to play Sunday.

Bush, Bell, Stacy, Martin, Tate … still waiting for *one *of them to exceed expectations and become more than adequate. If that happens I’ll have a pretty bitching team.

It’s actually a pretty bad first half that Green Bay managed to score 28 points but I’m only at 30 points for Nelson/Rodgers combined. I’m concerned they’ll take their foot off the gas. I should be getting at least 40 out of those two positions, and that would be kind of dissapointing

If not for that one bomb to Nelson, it would be a pretty good game for me. Hopefully Flynn throws a few passes to Cobb in the 4th…

Waahhh, my QB only threw 3 TD’s and my WR only had one catch (for 66 yards and a TD). First world problems.

If I were you, I’d be more worried about Cordarelle Patterson doesn’t seem to have developed into a legit wide receiver.
