SDMB FF Dynasty League: Year Six

Projected score between Stringer and I is about half a point difference. Cordarelle Patterson dissapoints me. I should’ve started Robinson over him, but it didn’t seem ethically legit to me.

Gronk/Thomas TD battle incoming.

Stringer needs 40 points out of Antonio Brown, Beckham Jr, Fleener, and Forsett to beat me. Definitely a favorite at this point.

That trade looks a whole lot smarter now. Nick Foles is probably out for a while with a collarbone injury. I’d have been starting Brian Hoyer for the rest of the year - assuming I didn’t spend the rest of my FAAB dollars on Mark Sanchez. Which I won’t.

Fuck our division is tough this year. I wonder what the odds are that I make the playoffs. Two games and the tiebreaker behind in the division race, tied with RNATB for the wildcard in terms of wins but I have a significant lead on the tiebreaker with him.

Oh, misremembered - I was two games ahead of RNATB, so he only gains one on me this week. Given that I have the tiebreaker, that puts me in a better spot than I had thought for the wildcard. He has to get 2 games on me in the last 5 weeks, which is unlikely.

Oh, woops, I was wrong. The league standing things on stat tracker is listing me as 7-2 because I’m currently ahead, but that won’t hold. So I will be tied with RNATB at 6-3. It’s very likely at this point that the wildcard is going to the Sunbelt division. Stringer likely grabs Midwest, although he’s far from having it locked up, and it’s a tight race between Varlos and Justin for the Northeast.

Yeah, shitty timing on the trade for me. With Foles out I probably could’ve at least squeezed a decent draft pick out of you as a topper. Plus this was my bye week from hell, and without Hopkins I was forced to start a 2nd TE, Zach Ertz, who put up a whopping 0.9. With Hopkins and his 20.5 I’d have had an actual shot heading into tomorrow. As it is I pretty much have to hope there’s a sniper at the Colts/Giants game.

Yeah, if we were having the trade discussion right now I’d probably have given you back your first rounder, or at least swapped it for a third or something.

If it makes you feel any better I didn’t start Roethlisberger in my money league this week (though I did last week). I started Kapernick and lost by 15.

This just in: Do not make trades with RNATB. They magically turn out way better for him a week after the trade is made.

RNATB is the injury-whisperer.

Tell that to Vincent Jackson and DeSean Jackson.

Historically, it’s been much the other way. I once traded for Owen Daniels only to watch him go down for the season a week later. Then I traded for Chris Cooley, who did exactly the same. Might be the other way around, now that I think about it.

Well at least I was convincingly beaten by the highest score this week, so I don’t have to second guess myself.

Stringer, do me a favor and win this week too.

I have some bye week issues so I’m not optimistic about my chances vs Isotopes.

Also I can’t believe you guys let my man Odell slip to pick 2.5 because he had a pulled hamstring in camp. He is the next Antonio Brown!

Seconded. It’s quite probable that two playoff spots won’t be settled until you (Beef) play Isotopes in the last week of the season.

I play Varlos this week and my entire team is on a bye, or has collarbone issues.

Why yes, I am starting Mark Sanchez and Toby Gerhart this weekend. Why do you ask?

Anyone have any interest in stashing Zac Stacy on their roster? No reasonable offer refused. Really, almost no offer whatsoever. Option to swap 3rd Round picks in the next draft (keeping in mind that my pick will probably be in the middle of the round)?

Think that’s bad? I spent $91 on Sanchez in the Big League.

Varlos, I’ll give you *all *the lint in my left front pocket for him. Or Jermaine Kearse.

It’s also very possible that Varlos and I will enter the final weekend with identical records and the Northeast playoff spot on the line.

Don’t count me out! Despite being only 3 points away from fewest points scored in the league, I’m only one game out of first.

Wait, what? Just how awful is our division?

Pretty damn awful. I am not quite sure how we all ended up sucking in the same year.

Gronk and Cameron are bye/out this week, but I’m not going to bother to pick up a TE. I just don’t have anyone on my roster I feel comfortable for a crappy one week plug in. Plus the Cleveland defense scored 22, and catching Retro on a good bye week, it looks like I’ll be ok without one.

Warner’s brothers is on a 2 game win streak, so if he wins a closely projected game against Justin Bailey, all four teams in the sunbelt division will have winning records.

Isotope and Petey are almost at a projected tie after a poor performance from Jeremy Hill for Petey. Varlos is also in a projected near tie with RNATB. I’m going to be worried more about their games this week than mine.

I picked up both Josh McCown and Ryan Mallett. I don’t expect either to amount to much, but wit Fitzpatrick’s benching, I was back down to being a 1-qb roster. I should definitely have someone.
