I actually came here to see if we had a list of kept players because I couldn’t remember if I kept Randy Moss (who just signed with the 49ers). But I can’t manage to see the league page - I get a “visit your teams” page from yahoo, but clicking on them does nothing. Can anyone else get in?
Went to the history page and clicked through all the teams, doesn’t look like anyone owns Moss.

Yeah 35 and coming off 4 neck surgeries so severe that his ability to play at a high level again is questionable at best.
I’ll pencil Thomas in for 1200/12.
1200 is doable, but even Reggie Wayne only managed 12 TDs once. I know Thomas is bigger, but he has all of 2 100-yard games under his belt

Thomas has got the skills, so I don’t know why anyone would doubt him. He was finally healthy mid-year and his last 5 games were 144/2, 78/1, 116/0, 76/0, 3/34, and in the playoffs 204/1, 93/0.
And that’s with Tebow throwing to him.
He’s going to be a top 15 receiver at the low end this year.
Edit: I guess the doubt comes from Manning rather than Thomas. Well, we’ll see - Manning would probably be a better passer than Tebow if he was throwing left handed.
No, my doubt is based on Thomas. Nobody was bothering to defend the pass against Tebow, so he was completing an 80 yard bomb or two pretty much every game. I want to see what Thomas does with a quarterback defenses will actually respect before I crown him a viable starter.
We didn’t end up doing any sort of tournament for the first draft pick sort of thing, did we? Reverse order of standings is our draft order?

Yes, I know I mixed team names and user names there based on whichever was laziest. These are the things you can do when you are champ.
Anyway, it’s never too early to start talking draft! And I’m going to be trading into the top 3 this year, using my #12 overall pick and… something. And maybe other picks. What’s it going to take? Who’s going to trade down?

It just occured to me that trading picks will have to have some limitations, since the number of picks people get is based on their number of players cut. I could cut 2 players and then trade away my third through millionth round pick with no actual loss. But if I could only trade picks that I made cuts for - then I could end up with empty spots on my roster at the beginning of the season. Which… probably isn’t that big a deal. But the easiest way to make this make sense is to have the pick count even out - so one player could swap their first and 5th for one player’s first and 2nd, for example.
Either that, or we just move empty roster spots from traded picks to the end of the draft. Not really a big deal either way.
I was thinking of packaging my 1st+2nd+player to move up or something, just trying to think through the logistics of that.
I want to move up too, this is quite a rookie pool…

Just enforce all trades to be an even number of picks (players count for this) and everything works out smoothly.
Also, yeah, if you don’t have a pick in a round you can’t trade it away. I don’t think that means we have to finalize roster cuts before trading can start, but it does mean that whatever the highest (lowest?) round draft pick you trade away or acquire, you have to cut at least that many players.
eg: If I trade away (or acquire) a 1st and a 5th, I have to cut at least 5 players.
How the hell did I only have the 6th worst record? I thought I was at least a candidate for Trent Richardson. :mad:
