These were the only few minutes I caught and Pence just flat out fucking lied.
He’s not a stupid man. Even if his followers don’t read, he does. He knows full well that Trump’s foundation is deeply corrupt. And he knows that the Clinton foundation has an excellent rating. And he lied about both of them. It wasn’t an evasion or a different interpretation or point of view. He distinctly said something that he knows to be untrue.
He lied about charity. He should be deeply ashamed of saying anything about his “faith” again, ever.

It does seem that Kaine was trying to help Clinton, and succeeded, whereas Pence was trying to help Pence, and also succeeded.
