What’s interesting and frustrating about the Confidence game is that my picks are almost the same as Isotopes’ picks this week. The only difference in our straight up win-loss picks is that Isotopes picked Buf to beat NYJ and I did the opposite.
With only 1 game difference on the straight up picks, Isotopes currently has 43 points (Rank 8/22), while I have 30 points (Rank 20/22).

To be fair, we’re working with more people to select the top scores from, and Ron Jaworski doesn’t pick the Monday night games because he does the commentary.
In a semi-related note, props to Mortensen. In some preseason segment, he was asked about his “surprise fact” of the season. He said that the Cleveland Browns, 1-11 in divison games in the previous 2 years, were guaranteed locks to win 3 division games this year. After an embarassing failure against Pittsburgh, he stuck to his guns, and picked Cleveland against Cincinatti and Baltimore - the only one - and was right both times. Props.
Does anyone else think it’s totally wrong that Buffalo has the same spread (+10) vs Dallas as Tampa Bay has against a beat up Indy squad? I guess the swing due to home teams is 3 points in both cases, for 6 total.
Must be a lot of Chicago homer bettors for them to be only getting 3 at Green Bay.
And Tennessee is suddenly getting a little too much credit.

Good luck today, everyone. I’m not feeling the huge upset love this week, although I think that there a few out there.
Also, FWIW, Tampa Bay is a ten point dog because they lost their star RB and their veteran left tackle for the season. I think Indy will win, but not by 10 (although my spread picks are as weak as it gets, so take that with a grain of salt). And if Tampa Bay wins of course I’m happy.
Finally a good week for me. I even had the top score in my fantasy league this week. Picking up the Houston kicker to cover a bye week turned out pretty well :D.
