Here’s one that I actually took today. There was serious rain around here last night, so bad that when I was out on the bike today the road was blocked by floods a couple of times. Well, if you have to have the road blocked by a flood, you would at least want it to be a pretty one:

Cool pic! Was the main picture during the totality? Was that as dark as it got there?
It was eerie in Rexburg. When totality hit it went as dark as night, and it felt like the temperature dropped 10:degrees in minutes. Then the sun came back and all was well.
I can understand how ancient people got freaked out by eclipses.
I wondered where I put that! Damned auto-park, always putting my saucer on the wrong roof.
Yes the main photo was during totality, but the image has had the gamma adjusted to bring out the foreground details.
Do I get bonus points if I post a picture of my own painting? That’s like two images in one, right?

I take lots of pictures that I crop and essentially photoshop/enhance/digitally alter, most often with the iPhone’s built-in capabilities. Usually I do this because I only ever wanted a part of whatever I snapped when I took the photo; this is an example of that. So the first is the Image and the second will be the original photo that I took.

That picture was taken as I drove to work, but traffic was light so I was able to slow down to about 25 MPH and snap the pic as I passed the box.
