The job doesn’t start until the 3rd. I might could possibly play on the 6th as well.
The reason I bring this up, is because the job is going to be nights and weekends.

I would hate that in High School, teachers, especially in Math would walk students through what grade they had to get on the Final Exam to make what letter grade they wanted.
One term, I had a C, and I wanted an A final letter grade. [Who doesn’t?].

I got a straight flush once in a live game. It was at a restaurant that hosted tournaments put on by a company. It was the Poker Compan’y 2nd anniversary party,
I would later find out, the restaurant was the first restaurant they sold their services to.
Anyway.
Got two (empty) pint glasses for my straight flush. Still haven’t used them. But cool to get prizing like that on a not all that common at all hand.
Ace to 5 Spades.
I held the 2 and 5 IIRC, and I knew, I KNEW once I saw the 4th card in the straight, that I would have the fifth.
And yes, I probably blew it and told every one my hand with the betting back then as well.
I doubt I will ever learn.
Well, to get that 80 last quarter in my first three starts, I had 1st/7, 1st/6 and 4th/8…I’m currently sitting at 1st/11 and 5th/10 for this quarter…these two scores carry more weight than the first and third scores of last quarter…so…I figure I need to be at least 2nd (probably) or 3rd (maybe) out of 10 to get another 80. But, I have this here chainsaw and I’m not afraid to use it again…
Can’t make it this evening; misread the date for a function tonight. Look forward to reading later tonight how the poker group went.
