Me as well. I did not read the thread this came from. I would not equate it with hitting or violence just unwanted contact.
Why do I get this mental picture of Shodan in a holding cell with some Latin Kings trying to explain what he REALLY meant when he said he was looking forward to laying hands on the first wetback that looked at him funny? It’s almost like he seems to be trolling or something.
This is my take. “Don’t put your hands on me!” I would not have assumed to put hands on someone means hitting them. It would be context dependent, but if somebody to me says “he put his hands on her” it means he touched her, possibly/probably unwelcomed, but not that he hit her. But I don’t know the context of the OP or the Trump statement or whatever the OP is about.
It’s either trolling or he’s incredibly stupid. The former seems a lot more likely to me – he’s playing silly games to try and piss people off.
Shodan is also one of the whiny little snowflakes who keeps whinging about “liberal bias” on the Dope, but he seems to get a pass for pretty much everything.

I think you misunderstand. It’s not about whether they laid hands on you, but about whether you laid hands on them.
To clarify:
Sarah sees you waving at a friend with your left hand while you hold a sandwich in your right hand. Sarah is hungry. She reaches across your body to try to grab the sandwich. Surprised, you stop waving, and lower your left hand and bring it close to your body. In the process, your wrist, or maybe the base of your hand, lightly brushes the elbow of Sarah’s arm, the arm she’s trying to grab your sandwich with.
The question isn’t, did Sarah lay hands on you?
The question is, did you lay hands on Sarah?
Shodan claims you did, because he’s a dumbass troll.
That said… leave the goddamned kids out of it. That’s not remotely okay.

It’s all moot. CNN won the lawsuit and Acosta is getting his hardpass back. So the fake video and Sarah Sanders, Trump, and Shodan can all go suck eggs.

If someone told me that I’m following in doorhinge’s footsteps, I would certainly reevaluate something.
Maybe you can open your Trump-clouded eyes and realize that, in fact, the sky is blue, Acosta didn’t “put his hands” on that intern, and the Trump administration regularly lies about obvious facts. Until you do something about your current twisted view of objective reality, I guess I’ll just skip over anything you post.
