SDMB Subscription Help 2009-2010 edition

Last year I mentioned that I would likely let my subscription lapse, and someone here wordlessly re-upped me. (Thanks, whoever that might have been.)

I’m just hangin’ out, waiting for an opportunity to restore balance to the Force.

For some reason I am having difficulty signing up with the one card I have with me. If someone can help me out I can repay once I get back to the states in a few weeks. I know it is last minute and if it too late, no big deal.

De nada. Almost everyone I know is in a feast or famine situation these days. It’s truly dizzying.

Can anyone (including Larry) help me out? I HAVE the money, but can’t get my payment to go through because the security number on the back of my Visa card is worn off and I can’t get the payment to go through without it. Yes, it is now ONE HOUR from my expiry (or maybe two hours, Chicago time?). Any way, I realize that the odds are slim at this point, and it is ENTIRELY my own fault, but if someone can give me a hand I will glady either pay them back or pay it forward to someone else. Thanks so much! (How does this work? Do I email you or PM you my SDMB password, or what? I don’t have enough time left to read the thread and find out for sure!)

No problem at all Tenar, glad to help. I understand about the charter status. It isn’t a huge thing, but like a old favorite shirt I’ve had it for a while now and have gotten used to it. :slight_smile:

Don’t worry about payback, if you can get your card problems wrangled just sponsor someone else if the opportunity comes up.

And I know a couple of others were waiting to help out as well, and I didn’t mean to swoop in and cut someone else off, but I thought with the deadline you mentioned I shouldn’t wait.
