Search engine to identify jeans / pants?

With all of the search engines out there, does anyone have a way to plug in styles, features, etc. for jeans or pants into a search and find who makes them?

Perhaps you’re looking for carpenter jeans with a “saddle patch” or crotch reinforcement and double / reinforced knees and at least one pocket with a zipper so stuff can’t fall out. (Nothing worse than having to wriggle back into the crawlspace to retrieve your wallet!)

Or, you’re looking for skintight fashion jeans with pink, green and orange embroidery on the back pockets and pre-faded blocks on the thighs because you saw them on the bus and thought they looked good. (On second thought, ewww…)

Or black button-fly jeans with a looser cut than 501s because you’re not 18 anymore. (middle-age spread that refuses to get old)

etc…

Anyone do something like this?

Only thing I can think of is Lands End will make you custom jeans.

No, I’m not looking for custom jeans. The aim is to find something premade in an ocean of brands and styles.

By now, there’s got to be enough information out there that a person could plug in that they want carpenter pants with a hammer loop on the right leg and the search engine will think a bit and suggest taking a look at Riggs and Blaklader. (Just throwing that out as an example.)

Yes, it is possible to do this manually with Google, but the problem is in sorting out the garbage.

Even if you don’t buy from eBay, it’s a good place to look as a “worldwide selection of premade goods.”

If the sellers have done their jobs right, you can drill down through Categories - Men’s Apparel - Pants and then choose Waist, Inseam, Style, Color, Condition and keywords.

You’ll see a heck of a lot of pictures of pants, and brand names of the pants, and can get an idea from there as to what specific brand of pants you want to look for in the store.
