I searched my own name on a whim to see what my first post was (at the age of… give me a second… 14? I think it was something about how much Homer Simpson rules… I’m not kidding… shakes head)
I searched my name, as I remember doing years ago, and found that instead of coming across all sorts of embarrassing posts from my younger years… I’m stuck in 2004. 750 posts ago.
What gives?
There is a limit on the number of results you can get from a search. If you want to see more, you can run the search the other direction; ask it to show you all results listed in ascending order (oldest date first). This will give you the first 750. You can also search by forum, which gives you even more results, especially since you can run both top down and bottom up searches in each of them.
There are other tricks you can perform to help produce even more of your old posts… You might search for threads where we have discussed this before.
