Maybe, maybe not. The timing is suspicious, though, since he fell off the cliff last year after starting 8-3. By my calculations, that means he started sucking in the 12th game. Last night his 12th game didn’t look so hot.
Did Loadholt and/or McKinnie come back into that game?
I’m hoping this was just a case of the Vikings just going into the game with a big head and getting humbled. I guess we’ll see next week. If they lose again, the “They’ve only played good against cupcake teams” argument is going to really have some serious weight behind it.
What happened to Henderson really sucked though. When I saw the replay, I thought it was his knee. They’re saying it was a broken femur though. I’m not sure about this, but I’m guessing that might be better when considering his career. It was pretty brutal either way.
Ridiculously one-sided??? :smack: :smack: :smack:
What were you smoking back then?
(Memory refresher: Super Bowl 1982: SF 26 - Cincy 21 memorable for the four-down stuffing of the Bengals at the goal line in the 3d quarter; Super Bowl 1989: SF 20 - Cincy 16 memorable for the afore-mentioned Montana to Taylor score to win the game)
Sadly, this week’s results will cause us Packers fans to rue the fact that we got Favred twice this season. Had the game in Green Bay gone our way, this would be a much more interesting race. As it is, the Vikings have for all practical purposes won the Division.
Hm. For some reason I thought one or both of those games was a laugher. I must have Cincinnati confused with Denver again.
Wha…wha…whaaaaaat?
I was gonna say!
Ummm…yeah. What he said. Can’t add to it.
I understand its an honest mistake. I mean, I get them confused all the time. One team plays in Denver, the other in Cincinnati (which of course both cities for all practical purposes are in the Midwest), they both have some orange, they both have or have had awesome quarterbacks, they both have won a Superbo…wait a minute! One of these things is NOT like the other!

New England got done sideways in a couple of Superbowls before the Belichick/Brady era.
The zebras are taking good care of the Packers in this game, as always. Every sailed pass by Aaron Rodgers draws a phantom PI flag.
Get used to the PI’s. They are going to go against you when the mighty Vikings play the workmanlike Bengals.
And yet another horsehit PI flag. It would be nice to see a Packer game played on the up and up, but I guess the league wants to make sure they get in the playoffs for the TV ratings.
Notice the non-call on the blatant PI the other way?
The fix is in. How sad.
McCartman is such a douchebag to challenge this.
What was with those drunken, fuckhead Packer fans in the end zone. What stadium do they think they’re in?
Man, you’d better adjust your refereeing expectations. They won you the game against the Steelers that you should have lost, but it won’t help you against the Bengals defense.
We’re fundamental, baby.
Interesting statistical note - Percy Harvin was the Vikings’ leading receiver this week with 79 yards, and their leading rusher, with 22.
I think you got the Vikings-Steelers game backwards.
The Vikings beat the Steelers, them had the game taken away from them on a bullshit “tripping” call.
The worm has turned in this game, huh? I predict A-Rodge will throw another pick on this very drive.
I sure did! I wanted the Vikes to win! Ooooops! Sorry for the blasphemy and general lack of knowledge!
The Bengals vs Vikings should prove to be a very evenly-matched game.
The Viikings will roll the Bengals. Favre will be in a ball cap before the 3rd quarter is over.
How about that completely bogus offensive PI call on the Ravens’ last possession? Kind of mnakes you wonder how this game would shake out if it was played on the level, huh?
I think there’s some touchy calls going against both teams.
