Dallas O-Line got killed
Well, that’s a wrap. Dallas has quit and so have the refs. Skol!
The Vikings haven’t.
I’d say I couldn’t have scripted this game better, but I would’ve left out the injury to Ray Edwards.
Totally dominating performance by the Vikings - I’m very proud of the team and glad that we’ve got some momentum going into the NFC championship game against the Saints.
I’m going to enjoy this week
The Vikings defense really controlled the game, and while the Vikings O-line had some issues (against a good Dallas defense), Favre was able to make enough big plays to stake the Purple to a lead, and let the defense take it from there.
Heh, the Vikings are all singing “Pants On the Ground” in the locker room.
Nice win, but I have to admit I’m scared shitless of the Saints next week.
Like this week’s game, next week’s game cannot possibly surprise me. It can go heavily in favor of either team or be dead even and none of that would stun me. Both teams have been inconsistent enough that it just depends on who shows up. The Vikings have not been bad indoors, though, so I hope they continue that trend.
Peterson’s mediocrity has me worried. It seem like there were zero holes for him to run through. I wonder if Matt Birk is the difference between this year and last for him…
Well, again, Bret Favre shows up for the Vikings ready, willing, and able to accomplish an excellent result. Next week becomes the key, I think.
Good job by the Vikings. The Cowboys were boys among men today. Clearly, they didn’t have what it took on either side of the ball. The Ravens did a much better job yesterday against the Colts than the Cowyboys did.
Note that Romo’s stats aren’t that bad, except for the lack of any TD passes. Goes to show that just moving the ball around the field alone doesn’t do you too much good.
Vikings v Saints looks like a good matchup. It’s the matchup that has been brewing all season. Will be interesting to see who’s defense blinks first.
The irony of this, coming from Hamlet, is beautiful.

You’re still programming in BASIC, dude?

Some of us never pursued the lucrative career of computer programming beyond learning BASIC in high school. Some of us may be regretting that decision.
This just points out the need for unit testing.
At least he knows more about programming than he does about football.
ZING BOOM
Ladies and Gentlemen, Hentor the Barbarian!!! He’ll be here all week. Don’t forget to tip your waitresses!
Another football-contentless post in a football thread from Hamlet.
Ah, come on guys. The Vikings won today. It’s a good day. : pours vodka shots for everyone :

The sum and substance of all your posts in this football thread: coming in to take idiotic shots at me.
The irony. It burns!!!
Skal!
Yes, and a great day for the NFC North. I think all fans of the division can appreciate and feel lifted by all the media recognition and praise of one Brett Favre.
You know what I like about Brett Favre? He has so much fun playing the game. He’s like a kid out there.
Seriously, can you imagine what the verbal fellatio is going to be like if Favre makes it to another Superbowl? They’ll have to bring John Madden out of retirement for the game because nobody else would be able to match his skills at blowing Favre during the broadcast. I hope your mute buttons work.
