Season/Series Finale of 24: who all will Jack kill? (Spoiler City!)

Not meant as a replacement for the usual 24 weekly gabfest that Monstre usually starts, but just a place to predict stuff.

I fully expect Jack to kill at least Logan and Pillar. He may also take out the Russian top dog, and I’ve been intrigued by the possibility that he may assassinate the President.

There’s also a hint that Chloe may kill Jack!

What’s the body count from your point of view?

Will it end with a bang or a whimper?

Will they leave room for a sequel somewhere down the road, or is this going to be it?

Jack can’t die! 24:The Movie is already in development for a 2012 release.

For the big finale, get your shot glass handy - there should be a lot of “dammits”!

[spoiler]Jack won’t kill Logan. He had Logan by the throat earlier and didn’t kill him. Jack has a lot to do in the next two hours and he won’t back track to get Logan.

Jack now knows, from the bugged phone conversation, that the order to kill Renee Walker came directly from the Russian President. He’s on his way to the UN to stop the peace agreement from being signed, and it’s not looking good for the Russian President.

Cole is on his way to Rikker’s apartment. (Although it’s hard to believe Rikker would go home after the bloodbath at the department store, undoubtedly he has.) Cole and Rikker will have a confrontation and Rikker will decide to help Cole and save Jack. Possibly he has a back up copy of the evidence chip that he can give Cole. That would be sweet!

Cole with or without Rikker in tow will head to the UN. Chloe is also on her way to the UN to expose the Russian involvement and to save Jack (not necessarily in that order).

Dalia Hassan is the wild card. By now her daughter has given her Meredith Reed’s message, but Dalia can’t reach Reed at the pay phone because she has been taken into custody. She’s going to drag her feet and refuse to sign anything until she gets to talk to Reed, thus buying time for Jack, Chloe and Cole.

Pillar is in hot pursuit of Jack but, things being what they are, Jack is going to get the drop on Pillar. Possibly Pillar still has the evidence chip and Jack can recover it, or Cole may be in possession of a back up. Either way, Chloe is going to get her hands on the evidence and publish it to the free world via her iPhone and a link to the CTU servers. There’s an app for that.

Once the truth is known, Jack will let justice be handled through the normal channels for Presidents Taylor, Logan and Suvarov. [/spoiler]

Given the talk of upcoming 24 movie, I don’t think Jack will die. He may finish out this season headed to prison, though.

I don’t think Jack will kill Logan. He already kidnapped him and got the info he needed. He’s after the Russian connection – and he probably believed Logan when he gave up the Russian diplomat’s name and said that he only found out later, wasn’t in on the hit on Renee.

I think Jack will probably knock off Pillar, who will show up to try to kill Jack.

Jack might very well assassinate the Russian president Suvarov, too.
