We were saying yes last night, but there might be a bit of a sudden change in plans. So I’ll say we’re in for now but reserve the right to change my mind at the last minute.
I’ll be there, then probably not again until March. We’re moving at the end of the month, so things are gonna get busy.
Looks like we’ll be there. As well as Mark (who was discussed earlier in the thread).
I’m probably out tonight, barring any sudden bursts of energy that going through 3 hours of fencing provides.

Well I just moved to the Seattle area from Canada, well Whidbey Island exactly, so it would be nice to meet fellow dopers, could you provide details, if it’s open to anyone, and I’ll bring my husband too or if there is going to be a Seattle area dopefest happening anytime soon?
I kept telling him, that there were these posts that kept popping up about Seattle Doper Trivia week to week, I’m not exactly sure what it they’re about though.
I’ll be there. I’m not allowed in the house on Tuesday evenings, so I’ve got nowhere else to be.
cherry, the pub has a website with a map link. I’m not sure if I’d take the drive from and to Whidbey just for pub trivia, but you and your husband are certainly welcome. When we end up with more than 6 people, we just sign up an extra team.
Let me know if you’re planning on coming, and I’ll put one of my “The Cecil Adams Party” signs above our table so you can find us.
As for a Dopefest, they come along from time to time. I haven’t heard of one in the planning stages, but I’ll bet there’ll be one somewhere in the area once the weather improves.
It’s looking unlikely for me tonight.
BTW, with !? gone, somebody needs to remember to bring a pad of paper.

I guess it’s a good thing I didn’t get involved in any trivia tonight. I’m obviously not thinking on all cylinders.
I was at work, reloading the thread from time to time, wondering why no one replied after me (my e-mail notifications go home, not to work). I never noticed that my post was #50, so any replies would be on a second page.
Hope no one actually came to the G&D. I was there, and gave up and left about 7:25. I didn’t feel like going solo. Though it would have been a good night for it, since the pub was only about half full. I’ve never seen it that dead at that time of the evening.
Puts forward the feeble excuse that it will take two plane trips and a journey of about 5000 miles to make it so won’t be there :rolleyes:
My apologies for being a tease and saying I was gonna show. We got a call from the vet yesterday afternoon and instead had to spend the evening in traffic with a yowling cat in the carrier.
I forgive you. I’d rather spend time in traffic with a yowling cat than drinking beer with the likes of myself any day.

Thank you for the link Saltire, hubby works off the island, so its not that big of a deal, besides it’s nice to get off the island for me. One of these weeks we’ll definately stop by and play. It looks fun.
