Darn. As you can tell, I would have ruled at simple questions like “What day is it?” and “Where are you?”
Well, we won, but it was victory hollower than a chocolate Easter bunny. If you’re lucky, we’ll never speak of it.
I have to say, the comments under your Seattlest writeup are rather illuminating.
Yes. It means I’ll try going back someday (but there’s a list of other places to try first).
I can understand not having a web page for your bar, but if you bother to create a MySpace profile, it’s kind of annoying not to update stuff like that. It doesn’t take long, and then people like me won’t encourage everyone they know to stay far, far away from the trivia at your place.
Interesting to see how quickly people decide to move on when the quiz sucks, though – sounds like it’s busy when the regular host is there.
That sounds familiar.
Weekly bump. Unless I’m mistaken, our own !? is tasked with hosting duties this evening.
I’m there. Who else is in?
I’ll add the grind to your bump.
Did that sound gay?
But I’ll be there tomorrow. I mean today. Or something.
I am indeed hosting, so I will indeed be there.
I’m planning to be there. Basically, from now on, all my "yes, I’ll be there"s come with the “…if the baby doesn’t have other plans for me” caveat.
So, yeah, I’ll be there.
I’m in as well.
How about you, Girl Next Door? We’ll always make room for new trivia dopers. If you come to the The Old Pequliar, just ask for the team that tonight’s quizmiester plays with when he’s not hosting. That’s us.
Hey guys… my birthday is in February…
finally get to meet me some dopers!
Pfft. Who wears the Snuggli in your family?
I’m considering quitting pub trivia. I’m not comfortable being on a team that wins this often. Being a winner just doesn’t come naturally to me.
On second thought, I’ll stick around for a while. Maybe I’ll get used to it.
Who put the bump in the bump-a-bump-a-bump?
I did. It’s Tuesday, it’s Old Pequliar time, and I plan on being there unless this wind scours us all away in the meantime. Anyone else?
I’ll be there.
P.S. to Aioua: we’ll save you a seat. In February.
I will either be at the Pequliar tonight, or I will be in Discovery Park working on my tan. Depending on the weather, of course.
I shall attend the competition this evening.
I probably won’t be there tonight – it’s my first week back at work full-time, and it’s coinciding with a particularly screamy developmental stage on the boy’s part, so I anticipate being asleep by about 9pm, if not earlier.
My life is so glamorous that it makes you all want kids, doesn’t it?
I’m in.
I’m bringing a couple of guests. Two teams, perhaps?
