We were up 6 at the break, and only won by 3 total. Those other Smurfs made an impressive run and should be feared.
Yep. We got cocky, slacked off, and were nearly overtaken by the other blue-faced team.
Or, more accurately, we kept trying to do well, but had a slightly less successful second half, and almost got our asses beat. Whatever.
The other Smurf team (Gag Me With a Smurf) has been regulars for a while, but they recently tinkered with their roster and got super good. They’ve one at least once in the last few weeks. (Proposed team name for next week: Fuck Me Gently With a Chainsaw.)
They’ll also host sometime in January, which was the soonest opening at the time they wanted to sign up.

Since tonight is the last night I’ll be able to make it in a good long while (starting a class that meets Tuesday evenings), I thought I’d bump the thread and ask who’ll join me on our trivia team, Charter Members of the Idaho Hall of Fame.
Awww. I’ll be there, but I was hoping we could make our team name all smack talky and be Gargamel and the Azraels. Three apples high of danger!
Sure, Gargamel’s smack-talky, but didn’t he always lose? We might as well name ourselves The Washington Generals. (Or The Democratic Party.)
As we learned at Trivia some night a while back, the Generals won a couple of games. It’s more epic when the underdog wins.
We could always go with the Belicheats.
Or, I actually like The Washington Generals.
I’m planning to be there tonight, regardless of the team name. 
I’ll be there. I figure before we talk smack, though, we should make sure the smackees are actually in attendance.
