lots and lots of chocolate, a nice little hand-held mirror which is wonderful because i take voice classes at school and the only little mirror i had was the broken plastic one in my wallet and i’d been using that during lessons…now i have a real one! and kettle corn, which i love, and a great cd.

I’m going to send out a quick heads up to the person I’m getting a gift for. You see, it’s taking a certain amount of - er - preparation, so it probably won’t be mailable until next week. After that, though, it shouldn’t take long to reach you. I plan on identifying myself, however, last year the person who gave me my gift decided to leave me in suspense, twisting delicately in the wind for a while. We have some e-e-e-vil people on this board!

I will be mailing a package out on Monday. It will be heading to Arizona. I hope the person likes it. My kids were all sadly disappointed we were wrapping it and sending to someone else.

Oh yes, the kitty on the card was more than noticed… I do believe my exact words were “Awwww… she’s so sweet to remember the kitties…”. It is grandly displayed on the entertainment center.
Not to get too mushy, but I’ve been having a really rough time of things here at home, and your package just made my day. In fact, it makes my day each time I pop a chocolate into my mouth.

I’m glad it got there - I wasn’t sure how long it was going to take since it was light enough to go first class.
And I’m glad you like it - I saw them in the school bookstore about six weeks ago and was hoping for a chance to give one to somebody, then I found the thread that said you like Santa stuff, and I was all over it!
First, a huge thank you to GreenBean and Billdo for their undertaking of what must be a daunting task, matching up folks for the Secret Santa! Thank you both so much, and GreenBean, I do hope that your hubby is doing well.
I do hope that my Secret Santa buddy is patient, because my gift has not gotten into the mail yet! First, I was trying to find what I thought would be the perfect gift, but couldn’t find it. 
But I did settle on something just as good (I hope!) and it arrived to me on Saturday. So, it will be in the mail on Monday. Just know that a lot of searching went into your gift, SS, and I’m hoping that you’ll enjoy what I’m sending. And if I ever do find my original gift idea, I’m going to go ahead and send it to you. 
LOL I’m patient too–because my gift hasn’t arrived yet. Will most certainly post a huge thank you when it does.

OK, my givee may not have seen this, but they have a relatively low post count, live in Michigan, and although they emailed Greenbean they have not posted in this thread!!!
I haven’t a clue as to what to give them, although judging from the name I assume the poster is male. Be prepared for a generic gift, or homemade cookies.

If I live to be 1,000 years old and have severe Alzheimer’s I will remember walking around NYC in a blizzard on the day we caught Saddam to get my Secret Santa present and mail it out from the post office that is open on Sunday.
I did that when I received the name and am no closer than before. I’m going out shopping today and I’m just gonna wing it. [Yes, this is late but the last 2 weeks have been very tricky. It will be mailed today though!]
I feel bad.
I had it all set to go out on Monday…but then had to paid for something for my mom and didn’t have enough. So now I have to wait for another paycheck (Thurs) It will get there though. I promise. Hopeully by Christmas.

My Secret Santa gift -did- get in the mail today, even though December 15 is said to be the busiest day for mailing packages all year! The post office was most helpful, and I was able to send it Priority Mail so hopefully my SS -should- have it by Wednesday. I hope that they like it.
I finally got my Secret Santa gift bought and packed up (unwrapped, though, otherwise it’d still be waiting). It’ll go out tomorrow, if I can get to the post office before it closes.
I mailed mine out Priority mail yesterday. Should reach its destination by Wednesday, Thursday at the latest.
I just got word that my gift was shipped yesterday and it will be where it’s supposed to be in 7-10 business days.
So, if you’re my giftee and it doesn’t get there by December 25th it’s not because I’m a slacker, it’s because the gift shop is on the opposite side of the country than where you live
I won’t be around to post the week of Christmas so thanks in advance to whoever my Secret Santa is.
