I have three separate countries (over nearly 3 continents) to shop in for gifties, so I’m afraid my Santee will have to wait until after Christmas, but I assure you it will be worth the wait!

I just spent 6 1/2 hours at my niece’s birthday party today, and am going to my nephew’s Christmas concert tomorrow, so I don’t know if I’ll get a chance to do my planned shopping this weekend. Depending on when I can get it in, the shipping may occur several days after I’d originally anticipated.
I will mail on Monday, not today as I’d hoped.
My package will be placed in the hands of the postal service tomorrow. Considering where it has to go, it will possibly (probably) not arrive till after Christmas. If the recipient starts posting fretful comments here, I may have to out myself… just for sanity’s sake.
Gift bought, sending it off either tomorrow or Tuesday.
I don’t need to know anyone’s mailing plans – you can wait to report when the mailing has occurred, because I’m not putting the check (well, the red Sharpie mark, actually) next to your name until then.
Also, just so folks know – anyone who is shipping out of the continental US will be receiving from outside the continental US – both groups should be prepared to be patient, since it’s likely that most of them will not be getting their packages before the end of the year.
Okay, fellow Santas, don’t do what I just did – seal up the parcel nice and snug and then realize you hadn’t put a card/note for your recipient in it. :smack:

Mine went into the mail today – it should be there by the end of the week. Santee – the contents are gift-wrapped, so if you want to open the box and put the gifts under the tree, you can.

I ended up having to pack mine with a Thank You note.

Santee, you can open the box and put the, er, item where you like without spoiling all of the surprise. You’ll know what to do when you see it.
