Mine went out yesterday, and according to my receipt, it should arrive in 8-10 business days. I could have sent it 2nd day, but that would have cost $40, which seems just a tad extreme for a $10-ish gift! :eek:

Well… the oranges are gone and the book’s been stolen. But the card was nice. At least I was able to con the 13-year-old into singing the card lyrics to earn his oranges. I love having young brothers.

I’ll probably get my gift out this weekend, priority mail, so my recipient should get it right around Xmas week. It, too, is a coolest gift evar!
Of course it is; it’s coming from me! Don’t question my opinion of my gift-giving skillz. You can admit that I’m the best. I won’t mind hearing it. Again.
Just an update: My package is ready to go and will be sent out this afternoon. I’ll post when the post office has it.

I looked high and I looked low, and now realize I should have gone to eBay first. The auction is won and I’m waiting for the package to arrive so I can wrap and send to my giftee. Hopefully it will arrive to you before Christmas.

ETA: I think the nature of the gift will give away the fact that it’s from me. I think. 
Or, when the person opens his or her gift and posts “I got a really cool ___ but I don’t know who it’s from,” you can smile modestly and say " 'Twas I." Of course, if they don’t like it, hey, you’re off the hook!

Well mine just went out today. I also forgot to put a note in with it, so I will have to wait for my giftee to post that it was received and then I can reveal myself.
I feel silly, but I did remember to put the SDMB on the return address. It’s been a long week! Plus, I’m typing this on my phone as I sit at the DMV, so that’s what my day has been like.
