Fringe will be back on then. And these promos, 1, 2 look really interesting.
Edit: Crap, I thought I was in Cafe Society. I’ll report my own post.

It’s also my birthday!
Early happy birthday! What better way to celebrate than by watching one of the best shows on TV?
I’ve never seen it, actually. But Sept 23 is also the day that Jurassic Park will be rereleased in theatres in the UK. Wish I were there!
Wow, September 23 seems to be a happening time to be. I hope I said that right.
I don’t know if I will be watching Fringe this season. They kind of lost me with the finale last season.
Ican’twait Ican’twait Ican’twait Ican’twait…
I’ve never watched Lost, or any other show where they wrote themselves into a corner and so left big unanswered questions, so I’ll give Fringe the benefit of doubt.
Oh, and I see my thread was moved to the right forum. Thanks mysterious mod or admin.
I think you did! And yeah, I feel like I’ve been hearing about a lot of things for that date.
Sorry to hijack from the Fringe talk!
No no, it’s cool. I’m just a Fringe junkie waiting to get his fix. And I have to wait about two and a half weeks!!!
I’ll be OK though.
It’s here!!! In 35 minutes Fringe Will be on. Yes!
Also, happy birthday Freudian Slit. And happy UK Jurassic Park day.
Well, that wasn’t a bad episode. The one thing I hate, and they’ve done this twice, is a bunch of stuff happens in-between seasons and they’re slow to fill us in.
Last season they’re all together in the same building, and this season they’re separated again seeming working on their own fringe cases instead of working on fixing the cracks and vortexes. I mean, I’m sure they’re working on that too, but no-one in that episode seemed to be working on it.
I thought they’d end the episode with one last surprise for our Lincoln Lee – i.e., his copy from the other side. But I suppose that can wait for another episode.
Thanks, Nobody!
I thought maybe Fauxlivia would say something like, “Hey Lincoln.” Or something like that.
You’re welcome.
Aw, poor Walter - three-quarters crazy, and a ghost guy showing up to make him look/feel even crazier.
Anyone else notice the opening is now orange-tinted. This indicates to me the blending of the two universes, where our universe had a white coloration, and the alternate universe was red. Now that they’re bridged, will this season always be orange?
Looks like they’re really bolstering Lincoln’s character in this universe, and will fold him into the Fringe division to fill the void of Peter (for however long that lasts), and probably to give Olivia a love interest.
I did like the fluttering of Peter every now and then during the episode. Also how it was only implied, but now confirmed that the main Other is really attached emotionally to the Bishops. In the mean time, looks like Walter will be continually haunted by grown-up Peter’s existential ghost; which I’m sure will be dismissed by everyone else as delusions and such. Yet, I think Walter will finally put 2+2 together. Perhaps it’s all part of their original plan, when they dreamt up the machine, and its circumstances.
Also, Walter has some awesome one-liners in this ep. “If you’re really looking for a story, look under that dome. I’m growing an ear.”
“Did you say ‘Abe Lincoln’?”
One last musing that just occurred to me:
What if we’re watching a third universe, spawned by the machine; a universe where Peter died, and Walter was never successful in saving the alternate Peter.
Now, Peter from our universe (the one with the white opening sequence) is trying to contact Walter in this universe for some ultimate reason?
Of course I’m wrong, but still, my mind wanders.
I’m wondering how much of the history is changed. Obviously if Peter never existed, then Fauxlivia didn’t have his baby. I wonder if alternate Broyles is still dead.
