And I am really, really not intending to threadshit here, but most of the sequential threads offered up here strike me as total and complete non sequiturs, with the proposed connections being the sort that could be invented between any pair of random phrases.
For instance, what’s the imagined connection between Oppressor Guilt and either best practices for small-town dating, or why straight U.S. males don’t wear red jeans? It’s not a big deal (it’s the mundane, pointless forum, after all), but what’s going on here?

I was going to post the Oppressor Guilt and red jeans myself, because that’s a word that’s sometimes used in relation to straight U.S. males, and the red jeans is enough of a non sequitor to make it funny. If it totally fit then it wouldn’t be as funny.

It’s a riff on the current ‘Me Too’ campaign. To try to make it unfunny, the connection is like, ‘We live in a small town where everyone knows everyone. It’s not funny on deep analysis; but the juxtaposition looks funny on first glance. Like slipping on a banana peel.
Any git can line up the obvious. But only a true sequential threads artist is capable of perceiving the elusive synergy linking two seemingly random titles.
