sigh
L.A. sold out in 30 seconds. And it is actually going to be a theater close to home, too! I wonder if it would affect my karma if I mugged someone standing in line…

I just sent a message to the guest services email address from the famous players canada website, asking if they knew when the toronto tickets were going on sale.
[tongue in cheek]Only if they’re not wearing an Alliance costume. Then you get a free pass, mug away. [/tic]
WooHOOOOOOO!!! Just got two tickets for the KC showing!!!
Crap. I just followed the link for Dallas but I get to the page to buy (“Select a showtime to purchase tickets”) and the only available time (10:00) is grayed out. I assume this means it has sold out.
Miami tickets are up now!
I just got mine…
dammit, I think I missed out on toronto too. Oh well.
It may, but I checked it real quick, and that’s also how it looks when the show is posted but tickets aren’t on sale yet. You might want to keep checking just in case throughout the day (reason I say this - the Hartford show was up on MovieTickets.com early yesterday afternoon as an unclickable link, but they didn’t physically go on sale until this morning, which I know since I linked it yesterday to a bunch of people at home and they all got tickets this morning)
DC tickets sold out last night at about 12:10 AM, literally while I was putting my CC number in - it let me click and put in how many I wanted but by the time I hit the final submit they were gone. I was lucky enough to see it in the last screening cycle, but it sucks for the friends I was going to take who really wanted to go. Ah well
St. Louis tickets are up.
errr, NM on Dallas, the word on the street is that it joined the sold-out-under-10-minutes-club at about 10am local time this morning
Chicago tickets went on sale about half an hour ago now.
I got mine!
Incidentally, I am about bouncing of the walls. I’m going into the Peace Corps in August and was super disappointed that I wouldn’t be able to see the movie. I just found out about the advance screenings this morning and am much much happier about this than any girl should ever be about going to a movie.
Now on sale in Austin! I gots mine! Woo-hoo!
There are still some available in Norfolk…if you come, there will be a large group from where I work…
including me!
Does anyone know, is this the exact same show as was shown in other previews, or have they been tweaking it?
Hwoon dahn! there’s no showing in the Cleveland/Akron area.
Hmm. Fandango doesn’t seem to be particularly responsive.
That might be a good sign.
On a scale of one to ten, how dorky would it be to go dressed in brown with a red scarf?
Please tell me I’m not the only one considering it.
On opening day in September, I had planned to put together Mal’s outfit to wear, including a real browncoat. Probably going to be too expensive for me, though, and I certainly don’t have the time to get it together by the 23rd. If I could, I would. I’d say it’s about a 7 on the Dorkometer; wearing any sort of costume to a movie is dorky/geeky, but you have to admit, nearly any outfit from Firefly would look lightyears cooler than a stormtrooper uniform.
Still waiting on Phoenix. Doesn’t look like they’re releasing tickets today, though. I just know by the time I check again they’ll have been released and sold out.
What about one of Wash’s aloha shirts?
(Actually, I love the juxtaposition of Mal in his Captain Tightpants outfit and Wash in his Confused Tourist dress.)
The tickets to the showing in Portland just went on sale.
They sold out before I could buy 'em.
Okay, all you huh choo-shung huh tza-jiao duh that have already seen it but STILL insist on seeing it again… how about giving those of us who HAVEN’T seen it a chance?
No, I’m not bitter. Why do you ask?
