I find her to be annoying and obnoxious much in the same way that Quiddity Glomfuster was (or whatever her name was, the crazy, insufferable bitch with the stick up her ass sideways.) You just know that both of them must be true treasures of delightful hell to live with. Or be in the same room together, for that matter. Oh god, I just imagined being locked in a room with both at the same time!
I think Sevencl has made the thread “things I find rude” completely unreadable. Which is a thing I find rude. I suggest that we all stop responding to that person over there.
I’m still not sure if Sevencl’s a troll in that she’s pretending to be what she’s not, or a troll in that she’s honest about who she is but is deliberately winding people up, or a genuine 100% arsehole. It’d be nice to believe that anyone that selfish and annoying can’t possibly be real, but there really are people out there like that - some of them are in government.
That said, I’m not going to engage with her any more. Either I’ve been taken in or I’m arguing with a vile idiot. Neither is worth my time.
Nope, even in the UK you are expected to tip at proper restaurants. And she was talking specifically about the US anyway and knew what the tipping etiquette is there.
She didn’t correctly point out a troll. If she thought he was a troll, then why would she take him to task for his “stalking?”
(Unless she knows he’s a troll because they are the same person or they’re friends).

Yes, but I would hope that if you were to visit the U.S., you would follow the whole “when in Rome” thing, and abide by our customs, which is to tip. If you didn’t, THEN you would be an asshole.
