There was this episode on the DVD where Samantha temporarily became a social pariah because she was caught making out with this socialite’s hubby while raising money for a charity. After being snubbed everywhere she goes, she is left helping out the charity the only way she can, through actual labor building it.

Here is my question, in the original my friend Mandi and I could swear that she meets JFK Jr. while working on the site and he helps save her from the outcast status, on the DVD they say she meets Leonardo DiCaprio.

Are both our memories wrong? And why in the heck, if they had to replace JFK Jr.'s name with someone would they choose Leo?

Yup, the edit actually occured between 1st airings and the later re-runs. I think the Leo insert was a “screw you” by the producers to the network flaks who wanted the change. After all, you don’t go back and edit other shows that mention someone who died. A lame demand requires a lame response.
