I and a platonic friend were staying up late hanging out. We decided to cuddle up with each other just because it was more comfortable. We fell asleep like this and woke up an hour later making out very enthusiastically. Neither of us knows how it started. Has anything like this ever happened to any one else? Are me and my friend out of our minds? Can any one provide an explanation?
Same thing happened to me. We fell asleep normally, woke up making out like crazy. I have no explanation for it, though.

Honestly though, perhaps your less-than-fully-conscious state just brought out feelings and urges that had before been kept back on a subconscious level.

Happens to most of us guys, Marley! Its not exactly the same as waking up not only turned-on, but also penetrating the girl who fell asleep next to you.
Waking up turned on or having the ‘morning wood’ thing going is one thing. Sometimes it just reaches a whole other level and the results are kinda cosmic. Apparently it can even happen with people you’re not involved with if they’re interested. Surely we should report this to the authorities.

I get the impression that these guys enjoyed it, and in fact kind of liked each other anyway. Why would they be sleeping so close together in the first place, if they had no attraction to eachother
It was not quite sex yet but it was more than making out. I felt the specific act we woke to find ourselves involved in was private, so I was trying to compromise.

Isn’t there some sort of rule in the user agreement stating that anyone who introduces a “sex thread” of any sort must reveal all relevant details–private, embarassing, illegal, immoral, or not–, for the benefit of those of us who may be living vicariously through the sex lives of our fellow dopers?
I thought I remember seeing that once. Maybe I thought I saw it in that beautiful nether region between sleep and consciousness. If it’s not a rule, it should be.
