Personally, I don’t understand how there’s any value in self-denial. If you want to wait until marriage, fine, but I don’t see how it’s “better” than not waiting.
It varies by culture. British romances tend to be of the “nobody ever touches” variety; American ones can make a reader wonder if anybody ever enters a relationship willingly; Spanish ones are consensual; there is an Italian writer who’s made a mine by writing “bad boy” novels where the Romeo’s behavior would have gotten him brained if he’d tried that shit with any of the girls in my HS class. In American teen movies, you’d think a car is the best place to have sex, followed by an unknown’s bed in a frathouse; Spanish and British ones involve beds in private houses.
There’s a bit of a difference between those fantasies that you actually can’t carry out because they aren’t reasonably possible (like the furry or transformation ones discussed above) and the ones that you can do but that you wouldn’t. There’s an overlap, certainly - I wonder how many who identify as furry would actually be interested in an actual real-life example - but it’s not total. I know a few furries who would, frankly, be right up for it.
Anyway, given that the thread is about ones that you wouldn’t carry out, not that you can’t, I have to admit to some rape and power fantasies, generally in a revenge style, that I’d consider utterly unthinkable to actually do.

I don’t personally identify as a furry (I don’t role play, I don’t have a “fursona”, etc) but I do like drawn furry porn from time to time. And given the chance (and I’ve had the chance) I would not dress up as an animal or wear little animal things and have sex that way. I like it in artwork but not in real life.
