I really wanted to impress on you folks that I had a REALLY shitty week. I mean, all this stupid job stuff happened, and I worked too many hours and I had this nightmare bullshit with my landlady.
As a consequence, having everyone tell me I was appreciated, even if it IS only for my piercings and obnoxious mouth when it comes to sex, has sort of kept me going this week. It’s been a great self-esteem boost. Seriously! More than you probably realize because of all the crap I’m facing right now.
So thank you VERY, very much! And please…you know…keep it coming.
More, more, MORE! I wish to be praised and endearing! I wish for loving attention to be heaped upon my weird little head! I want to be the reigning princess of compliments. Well…along with my neat SDMB sisters, that is.

One wonderful thing about a message board - and any online community, really - is that no matter what’s going on in your own life, you can be sure either that someone else is going through the same thing or that people will be there to pick you up and never let you down.

Well, it’s a baffling pit thread. The point seems to be that all the men of Straight Dope are being turned into testosterone crazed maniacs by the mention of SW’s more feminine aspects. But as near as I can tell, nope, no more so than usual. There’s always a lot of flirting on the board. This particular thread was started to compliment SW on the latter part of her moniker, i.e., her writing ability and her contribution to various posts. If that’s horndogging, it’s a remarkably literate form of horndogging
I think the horndoggery that goes on here is, in general, more literate than in most venues.
I don’t think there’s much question that Sexy Writer is an intelligent, thoughtful, well-spoken individual. I think the minor beef the Pit-thread-starter has is with people who she believes fall all over themselves whenever they see “Sexy” in a name.
It is a name, after all. Some of us are smart enough to know that’s only half of the story.
Anyway, it’s not a meanspirited thread, SW. Don’t take it so hard! And as I told you earlier, you know you’ve arrived at the SDMB when you have a Pit thread named after you.

On the topic of horndoggery, since the point in this thread where SexyWriter mentioned that she would have sent Zebra an image of her magnificent breasts if she were not posting from work at the time, we have been treated to descriptions of Jarbabyj and Carina42’s shaved and to be waxed hoo-has, and a who has the coolest tits contest between SexyWriter, Carina42, the Mermaid and Jarbabyj. We’ve even been graced by an image of the Mermaid’s enchanting smile.
And still there’s no new picture from SexyWriter.
Hmmmm… Ya know those of us sexually attracted to womens do enjoy all this, don’tca? I gotta pay more attention if threads like this are happening more often, or we gotta have more of them.
