SeaDiver is unable to reserve her rec room for the second of December. She has tentatively reserved it for the ninth of December instead.

Everybody please check in and report on what dates are best and if they have a rec room at their complex that might be available. If you know of an affordable hall somewhere in the bay area, that might be the solution as well.

OK gang, let’s put our heads together and see what we can come up with. We need to act quickly to avoid the blank-out that is going to occur very soon for all facilities due to the holidays.
As for me, I’m wide open and am willing to help with any of the logistics.

I’m sorry I can’t help with an offer of a rec room :frowning:
I also can’t make it on the 9th, due to a conflict in scheduling. I have a speech tournament to attend.

I don’t know of any other rec room to schedule it in. The 2nd, 3rd, 9th, or 10th of December are all open for me.

Good news!!!

A personal friend is in the consideration phase of opening her house on the December 2nd date for the dopefest. She lives in Pleasanton, only one mile from BART and barely a mile or two from SeaDiver’s original location!!!

I will confirm with her tomorrow about this. I want her to have an ample opportunity to decide without any pressure.

If any of you want to assist in the process, please check back in at this thread and post a blurb about why you will make an intrigueing guest at her house. I have already assured her of some outstanding conversation, a potluck, some of my killer barbecue plus SeaDiver’s Playstation II and digital camera.

So, everybody say hi to my friend Cameran, and let her know what a Goddess she is to consider opening her house for us.

actually, the 1st weekend is very bad for me- we have a major SCA event*, and a Holiday party.

Well, the 2nd is fabulous, and Pleasanton is actually fairly close to where I live.

I observe the stock-market-like fluctuations of the date of this gathering with much interest. But any Saturday is pretty cool with me.

Nope - I’m arriving the end of December. Plus, I’m moving to San Diego - a bit of a drive from the Bay area.
